I'd really like to know what the alternatives to Welbeck are that were alluded to. We should've been all over PSV to get a deal done for Depay early in the window. He's going to be a star.

Not bringing in a LWF would be a huge mistake. An injury to Chadli or Lamela and we are going to struggle, as Townsend and Lennon have demonstrated they don't have end product, which is incompatible with Pochettino's system.

So I guess its basically announcing this kid from Montpellier on Monday and maybe Welbeck on loan (although JJ did say we had other options if it doesn't happen)

I'd say that's about as good as it gets.

I'm sure there will be a few wild left field rumors that won't amount to anything.

But still, got to love it!

Yep, il be glued to it all day like right sad bastard lol cant beat it. Think JJ said chance of 2 loans in addition to Stambouli which intrigued me. Have a hunch uncle Daniel might have another Rafa moment ....

Did JJ confirm Welbeck was a loan? I only saw him say we were in for him, didn't see him say if loan or transfer.
