You haven't missed much, except that Chelsea is signing our entire squad, to spite us over Lukagate last summer and we're all fucked for the next 20 years, as Rodgers has signed with the bin dippers.

Morning all :) Don't know what its like across the water but the sun has left Northern Ireland and its pissing down, and I'm now officially tired and depressed!!

So come on Spurs, sign someone today to cheer me up!!! Failing that I'd settle for some ITK on Iniesta, Sneijder, or the likes

The rain hasn't reached the sticks yet, only a matter of time though :(

Not looking good for a signing before I go this weekend.

Nah it's all good...

We're on the hunt for Eriksen, Luuk de Jong, Lloris, Damio and a Bayern Munich Player of undefined name or postion, I say that's reason to be saltily cheerful.

Never mind the fact that we have all but OS confirmed signed Vertonghen! Wahoooo, Stamps at the ready.

It does seem less likely that they'll go for him now. With Mata, Hazard and Ramires certain starters and Lampard, Marin, Sturridge and Mikel expecting plenty of game time as well across a 5- or possible 4-man midfield, and with them looking to splash out on another striker having already spent big on Hazard in addition to recently signing Cahill, I'm not sure they can do another 40million + purchase. But, then again, Abramovich might still be drunk enough on vodka following the fucking CL victory to sign just about every check put in front of him..

Depressing isn't it........now I have the displeasure of wishing someone from here abject failure and misery. It just goes against everything I know....I should be supporting my fellow countrymen!!!

Where you headed Hottie? Wherever it is maybe you could have a wee look around for a striker or two??????

Dunno about Eriksen as the ITK only said 'interest', something we probably are with at least 50 players. But the rest of list seems both possible and very positive. Lloris, Vertonghen, de Jong, a creative midfielder with pace and goal threat (like Eriksen) and Adebayor would be a fantastic window.

Abramovic is teetotal...that's how you become a multi billionaire.

Forgot Remy of course and that HR is off to UAE, Chelsea or staying! So come on people, let's stay cheery!

Poor ol Brendan will see the error of his ways once he sees the task ahead. As for the scouser's they will feel he is one of their own coming to save them.

I thought yesterday was good from the brief stuff I saw. ITK or rumours linking us with a few players i think are getable and also ones I'd hoped we'd be linked to. De jong, Lloris, afellay. Getting hold of them and one other striker and we would be set.

I was pretty happy, then I saw rodgers to Liverpool.... and that's when reality kicked in and the cat ran for cover.

They were only rumours and one of the better options to replace redknapp is not an option any longer. Bollocks

And lets not forget that there is now a story posted about Affelay potentially going for a meagre £6m! If true (which is unlikely) then we could do a lot worse thn sniff around him as well.
