The talk (again!) is that everything is agreed with GLC now. It is now about us fitting all the moving parts, as other potential signings (Sess) involved, along with BF & CE.

For the record, as I saw on another post. We did not move the goalposts with Betis, and adding another 1m loan fee. Truth is, they messed us around for so long, with broken promises, and excuses.

Let’s ?, rather than going ‘ape-shit’ over every ‘Twatter’ and investigating their authenticity. I know how the pressers works, and just because it comes from the ‘non-popular’ masses, it does not really devalue their credibility.

Let’s wait until the end of the window. And every ITK have different connections, and therefore hear different things. My nads will be fine either way. COYS!!!
Thanks for the info Herc. Let's hope we can get it across the line by Thursday.
It's clear as day GLC (along with N'Dombele) is Pochettino's main target so I really hope we get him in so the man can start working without his hands tied behind his back.
Let's heed the advise to wait until the end of the window before making conclusions.

Having to wade through 20 pages of shit to actually be able to see the information is a bit frustrating. If we're gonna meltdown can we not find somewhere else to do it?

Not only wade through 20 pages for herc to post something positive...

Btw, clubs via their agents throwing RB’s at us to the dozen, then leak it to the press. Only way (opinion) I could see this happening, is a good loan with options. Opinion again! Can’t see it myself.

Agreed.
If Poch decided, preseason he doesnt need a RB , he will be stubborn to see it through. Unless Foyth is out for long time (which is not luckily), I cannot see us dipping into market for the position

Positive news regarding Sess potentially joining. I think the year he spent in a bad Fulham team in the PL has dulled peoples excitement For him, but I genuinely feel he'll be a star in the future.

As for the premature meltdown so many are having. Why not wait until the window closes? It'll be so much easier to vent about Levy when it's clear if he's messed up again. Doing so now means nothing as he may still get deals done. All this constant back and forth will do is get this thread locked with 3 days till window close.

I think it's important to consider that with our early deadline the clubs leverage hangs on other clubs believing we can go without and we'll walk away if they aren't "reasonable", but that we still have put a higher offer on the table than other European clubs would after that deadline. Given what we've heard so far I'm still not overly worried and wouldn't be at all surprised if the club was pushing this more negative tone to help negotiations. We'll see soon enough of course and @Hercules latest update is very positive!

Think this was always going to be the case.
Early ITK was Ndombele, Clark, Lo Celso and Sessgnon, none dependant on Eriksen’s future.
Two in, two struggle to strike a deal but sounds like both are there or thereabouts from Herc’s latest comments. Which lines us back with where most of the ITK started. Both of those deals could happen tomorrow (subject to medical), in theory if finances are now agreed. Personal terms long since agreed.

Following on, ITK starting to ramp up about Eriksen going (who knows where), only at this point will any follow up signings take place, eg Fernandes. Eriksen’s potential sale should make room and funds to go after that second CM. I really don’t see us letting Eriksen go without further reinforcements, we’d just be in exactly the same position as last year, and you’d hope the stadium completion and CL run have moved us past that. We have to improve to have any hope of closing the gap. Others are trying to do just that, and the club is run by smart people that know financial success is driven by success on the pitch. A fall out of the top four/CL and into the Europa through lack of investment sets us back hugely financially, and will cost a significant amount more to make that ground up again.

Finally, tying in with Herc’s comments about RB’s, this may not have been planned but maybe our hand is forced. The guy from Napoli, on loan, that’s my guess. But only if we clear space with outgoings first.

Ballsing up last summer’s window was amateurish as hell, and led to a terrible season which was very much masked by an incredible UCL run.

Ballsing up this window, with €50M+ of UCL prize money, a record profit in world football and a bumper new shirt sponsorship deal all in the bag would be utterly unforgivable.

Let’s hope Levy’s got some tricks up his sleeve. Ndombele alone does not fill the gaping holes in our squad, nor should he be expected to.
Terrible, as in the top 4? Really? OTT expectations given the circumstances methinks.

So i missed a meltdown. For most of you here, if its only sessegnon in, then levy has failed massively yet again. But we’ve all been here before. You’ll be mad for a day or 2 and then you’ll all go back to praising his name. So save yourselves the stress.

For the rest of us, if it’s only Sessegnon then we shouldnt be surprised. Levy is Levy. A leopard cant change its spots. ENIC will have to go. We know this and will argue with the masses to no avail.

HOWEVER, the reality of it is, the transfer windows are a roller coaster with peaks and valley’s. Lets just see where we end up before the end to react. A little over 2.5 days to go.

Terrible, as in the top 4? Really? OTT expectations given the circumstances methinks.

We lost over a third of our league games.

We went from being title contenders at Christmas to scraping top 4 by one point.

The games we did win in the second half of the season were lacklustre, where we were devoid of ideas and were lucky to scrape crappy 1-0s.

I accept that’s a better season that we’d have hoped for in the mid-90s, but it was atrocious compared to our last few seasons, which is what we should be comparing ourselves to.

You convince yourself we had a banging season if you want. It’s glaringly obvious that we did not.

It looks to me that GLC and BF are pretty much at a stage where we can just pull the trigger and sign if need be. They both seem to be keen to join us. There are also others that maybe available and their prices may drop in the next couple of days like Dybala, Bale and Coutinho. Maybe the plan is to see what happens with them first. I still think if Eriksen leaves the plan is it will be 2 in.

Its a risky strategy but let's say it ends with Dybala and Bale (huge long shot) I think most people would be ecstatic but if it doesn't work then we should hopefully end up with GLC and BF unless we totally screw it up.

People saying it's like all other windows well all other windows didn't get someone like TN early on. All other windows didn't have the possibility of these great players possible being available to us.

If we don't get two of those and Eriksen leaves then yes its disappointing. But alot more than before looks well lined up. So i truly believe we need to wait till Thursday night before we start rioting.
