Dobro jutro everybody!

Last night mrs A&C was having a go at me. "Life's just one big joke to you, isn't it."

"I don't know what you mean. Sit down love and let's talk about it."

That's when I pulled her chair away.

Ooooohhhhh! There's been ITK. Talk about it.

Glad the Davies deal has been agreed in principle. Hopefully he'll have a good pre season and settle in quickly.

Oh wow one of these much lauded swap deals could actually come off!

Would be good to have an example more recent than the old Zamora/Defoe one people (still) trot out ha!

I do hope Gylfi stays, it would be a very heavy price for Ben Davies if it was £8-10 million AND some deal for Siggy!

Little worried about Ade's wages tbh I'm not comfortable with breaking our famous wage barrier for Ade! It seems likely Falcao is off to RM so I'm sure if we offer Ade to Monaco for a tempting price, they'll bite, then his contract is there problem!

I dunno where these crazy figures came from, but it's Levy we're talking about here, it'll be maximum of siggy +2mill I'd think.

I do have faith in Levy, though my faith would lie around £5-6 mil + a season LOAN for Gylfi, if we offloaded Gylfi permanently to Swansea, I'd want some real knock down price for either Vorm or Bony and as usual a F****load of sell on fees ;)

Love the ITK on Davies, makes a mockery out of ManU paying a gazillion for a LB.

Sad to see Siggy go as I really like him but he was never given a chance at his preferred spot, he was never a left winger but with Eriksen, Lamela et al he wont get a go at AM so good luck to him.

Having said that, how many times do we hear about swap deals, they never come off.

As far as we're aware it's not a swap, they just want to announce the deals at the same time.

Think we're at the stage now where it would be surprising if the Davies deal didn't come off.
There's a lot in it's favour: nobody else seems to be in for him, the price is likely affordable & it sounds like it's in the classic 'Levy' stage of negotiating the price.

Regarding Sigurdsson, I think he's had his chance. Whereas last year's 7 deserve this season to find their feet, he's had two years and never really convinced. He's a talented but limited player & you can see why his goal record was good before he came; that's one of his few strengths. Apart from that though, he's never been able to impose himself on a game and has often rivalled Lennon for 'most invisible' awards on matchday.

Good luck to him but i'd give Chadli another season rather than persist with Sig.

Maybe this is where the new LW theory comes in, as Sigurdsson has been nominally covering that side of the pitch: he'll need replacing & if Poch wants 'in-out' wide forwards, he's only really got Chadli for that side with Townsend & Lamela on the other. I'd be surprised if he used Eriksen on the left, purely because of work-rate, so there's a clear vacancy unless you bung Kane out there?

So many potential variations even if we started tomorrow with no new players! A fascinating season awaits.

Yes a left back..... I like siggy works his knackers off and always willing and will be forever grateful for seeing his goal against hull City! I like him and will miss him but comparison to others we have or may have am afraid he wouldn't be in my team

Never like being too critical about any of our players, but I do hope we move Siggy on. I know he hasn't been used correctly for the most part but he's just too peripheral for me, too weak on the ball as well as he gets brushed off it way too easily. The team needs to be built around him and he's not good enough to warrant that at Tottenham, nowhere near it.

Think it would be a good move all round if he goes back to Swansea.
