I guess all the ITK reports are wrong then about him having burned all his bridges and the club wanting him gone.
Being picked last season consistently by Pochettino, and comments made by Pochettino himself about everyone starting with a "clean slate" suggest not all bridges were burned.
ITK may well have reported what they heard, when they heard them.
But things can change or be more complex than our rather simplistic understanding.

I might be wrong but is our clubs policy not to buy young so players have a resale value. Im sure iv been hearing this for years. So toby 30 rose 28 etc must be sold now to get money back. Id like toby to stay til he retires but i cant help thinking the club getting money back is good business for the accounts. Im not slagging here. My point is only there is always 2 sides to a story and iv only seen professional behaviour from toby over the last 2 seasons that this has been rubbling for. I am sure we never get any 2 sided detail of the goings on in these situations.

Football players sometimes want to leave football clubs, do you think all our players now will stay with us forever?

There is nobody on this team that has been disrespectful to the club and Alderweireld and Eriksen with a year left of their deals are entitled to look at other options. Sometimes I think fans don't get that players will move and some will go to bigger clubs, as long as they train properly and give 100% on the pitch it shouldn't matter too much.

No the thing he did wrong that upset Pochettino was accepting a contract then going back and changing his mind and wanting an extra £40k. Which caused some issues, but he still performed on the pitch. If he had been a bad apple during time with other players or during training he wouldn’t of played.

To go further, according to ITK he changed his mind (pressured by his father and agent) after Poch went to bat for him by convincing Levy that he was worth it.

With that logic, we have to sell super Jan, Hugo and Sissoko.

How awkward must that be for him? On one hand she is an idiot, on the other she is HIS idiot.

So she shot off her mouth... Probably not the sharpest knife in the drawer anyway.
But does that really constitute "irreparable damage“?
She made a derisory comment as she felt that we weren't offering Toby enough money and that we were a small club or small minded or something similar. Its not her position.

She was probably upset as it meant she would have to buy fewer Gucci and Chanel hand bags or something...(thats my humor not reality)

Why are so many people bitching about Eriksen wanting to leave to Madrid to not be a guaranteed starter and questioning his mentality for it? Surely preferring to be a big fish in a smaller pond is a worse mindset? You do all realise that part of the spiel about our own new signings is always that we don't guarantee starting places?

So many acting like a bitter teenager who's been dumped by their girlfriend, but it's ok because she's not that hot anyway, definitely not hot enough for the new guy she likes, but your still desperate to be with her, but she's ugly and was a shit girlfriend after Christmas, and anyway GLC gives better bjs, so it's fine, plus we're gonna have 3 ways with him and Ceballos so it's all good, but Eriksen wah wah wah what a bastard...
