I think outgoings might be key. If we ship out Serge, Wanyama and GKN we could see some more ins. Hopefully Palace help us in that regard.

I know it seems like a lot of deals, but we must be quite far along with some of them, perhaps even waiting to pull the trigger ourselves, its not like we have to do all of these from scratch. I would be very, very pleased with a new right back and in fact that could potentially be the most important signing, other than a good replacement for Eriksen if he leaves. There seems to be a lot of moves in the works, even outside of Spurs, so should be an interesting few days ahead, for better or worse.

Regarding GLC, Daniel Levy, and ENIC as a whole need to FIX this before window closes. Yes Betis has pissed about, but time to bite the bullet and do that deal also.

Tottenham Hotspur, right now in a nut shell.
This is absolutely where we’re at for me.

If we want to move positively on, it’s time to put up. To get the player you want (and most importantly Poch wants) in the modern football world, you have to pay more than you’re probably willing. See VVD, Pepe, AWB, HM. Of course those fee are ridiculous value BUT they have the players they want.

I can't believe a RB was never a priority, Aurier constantly injured, KWP clearly not ready and a CB turned RB in Foyth. It never made much sense.

How is KWP clearly not ready and how is he supposed to become ready if he doesn't play?

Some optimistic ITK today but some also not so great. Think we maybe in for a surprise not signing wise but at least slightly happy. But it's a waiting game and it's gonna hurt us as usual waiting to see what's happening

The issue isn’t about is he ready. It’s is he good enough? Why didn’t Poch play him last season if he thought he was ready or good enough? It’s not like we had an outstanding RB playing well is it.

Then all of sudden a few months later Poch thinks he’s good enough? Doesn’t make sense.
He backed his senior player, he didn't improve so he sold him. Now its the kids chance to prove himself. That said this isn't the thread to continue this discussion...just grates how people write him off so easily when I think i bit more game nous (that can only come from experience) is what he needs

It's now starting to go totally scattergun. It was steady on N'Dom, GLC and Sess and now names and even positions are being thrown around without any real justification. I would say a fee has to be agreed today( for overseas targets) at the latest to have much confidence of getting the medical and admin done by the deadline. Look how long it took to get N'Dom's medical sorted.

Ali Z says

A lot of what Trix say's is correct, CE thought he was going to Madrid but he was naive, Madrid never really wanted him but keep players warm, it's a tactic they used for years. Am not desperate but very disapointed and concerned at this stage, I could say a lot more but we really have some issues at present

Probably become a priority since we’ve realised we’re not prepared to pay what it takes to get an am in

No matter who we end up with, the evident disorganised chaos in how we go about our transfers is the most disappointing thing. Even if we get Lo Celso and Bruno Fernandes over the line - which looks slim - the way we've gone about things is an unbelievably poor show in the summer that we were supposed to act like a big club.
