Good morning tards, plenty to get through today

Yesterday I rang the mrs and said 'I'm nearly home love, put the kettle on'.......After a short pause she replied 'what for? Kettles can't speak'

I've kept it a secret but the Clan A&C very nearly got onto Family Fortunes this week. Sadly it all went tits up shortly after shooting had begun when the question we had to answer was 'We asked 100 people the best place to take a girl on a first date'........The mrs replied 'Up the arse'.......Seems it wasn't quite what they were looking for.

Yesterday's ITK began with Pottle, on Vertonghen and Adebayor.........
POTL said:
On Verts and Ade.............And closing in..
No cryptic.
Then Noodles on FTL said.......
Noodles said:
Pienaar gone
POTL came back and said..........
POTL said:
Update:Movement on Ade, should be next in along with Vertonghen. Exciting times.
Yes, we heard you the first time.........
On a Spurs site calaled 'The Fighting Cock' The Cobra, their version of the Goat..........
The Cobra said:
Have heard that due to his wife's illness, Daniel Levy is considering some time out from the club. Up to a year.
Thanks to Vonn for whoring that. Please lets not start guessing as to the nature of the illness. We all wish them well.
Over on SO, Archibald spoke.........And Wine Gum whored. Well played sir.
Archibald said:
bid in for Butland and loan back for year.

They want £7m!! should be a staff announcement soon too
Interesting stuff.
On COYS, Storts posted and BErgland was kind enough to fetch it over here.........
Storts said:
RE: Zeki Fryers to Spurs Goal.com article (http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896...ready-to-quit-manchester-united-for-tottenham)

It's true, we are paying big money contract wise
Another interesting little snippett..........
Finally, late last night........Paul445 whored this from COYS
Ali Z said:
RE: Walcott to Spurs rumors

NOT true his agent is spreading this story to get him a good deal.
A big thank you to everyone who whored info yesterday!

Finally........... yesterday we had a blocked drain and I found out the wifes shit really does smell of roses. And quality street and snickers and bounty........The fat bitch.

And finally finally, Today's papers. The Mail say Spurs are willing to listen to offer for VDV. Cheers Roger. The Mirror reckon it's AVB v Fergie over Fryers and The Metro reckon we are 'contemplating' bringing Diarra in.

THe ITks are all indicating this is an exciting week! Hope it ends off with some of the predictions coming true!

P.S... what time zone are you on A&C? Asia? Cause I hardly ever see you offline and you are always updating the new threads at about 6-7am UK time, when it is lunchtime in my part of the world..just curious

Early start today... Woke up with that Friday feeling. SSN Is on and I'm not moving until I see that yellow bar with new Tottenham signings being reeled off one after another.

That is highly possible too, Dr Know. With the possible rumours that Modric might be leaving as mentioned several times by JJ in the past and the other ITKs, and I'm not convinced we're done with our shopping yet; I don't yet think any announcement of a major investment will be done, unless we want the selling clubs to add a few million quid to their asking price of course. More likely we'll announce a few departures and incoming team staff , thats about it. But I always live in hope...

I can also probably see the new GK coming in after the US tour, I suppose his arrival date wont really affect the on-field players much .

Re Ben's info ...

Someone the other day posted that they had agreed the naming rights at £150m and were also going to buy 24.9%.
My guess was that 24.9% = another £150m so adding to that the government money and the sale of Sainsburys there wasn't much to find in the way of capital to build and fund the ground with no or very little debt.

Let's not all get our dicks out and start waving them around just yet, if something sounds too perfect that's usually because it is. Let's wait and see if there is a a deal and what it shapes up to be.

The Wiki on the Qatari Investment Authority, who own 70% of PSG:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qatar_Investment_Authority

This is the part from the Wiki page which interests me:
"In October 2008 QIA were linked with a takeover of Everton F.C. in a deal worth £200million. The rumours were initially dismissed by Everton[4] only to re-emerge in April 2009.[5]

In January 2012 it was rumoured QIA was to acquire English Premier League Club Aston Villa F.C.. The club refused to comment on the speculation fuelling rumours a deal was imminent. QIA have also been linked to acquiring the naming rights of Tottenham Hotspur new stadium when the Northumberland Development Project is completed"

I feel that although we've brought in a new manager and a new goalscoring midfielder and are on the verge of Vertonghen and Adebayor, the transfer window only really started today when we were finally linked again to Lassana Diarra. It just doesn't feel the same without his name in our list of targets.

Has anyone seen this United kid play? Is he going to be backup to Benni or will we farm him out on loan somewhere?

And as for the investment...do you think we can sell them the 25% that includes Bentley, Jenas and Giovani Dos Santos?
