Well Sorts' info at least confirms that we're still working on the deal, and that we're effectively ironing out the problems.

I think there's a good chance that it will happen simply because I think Leandro's value (as far as being an Inter player) has peaked, and is beginning to drop. He's not the hot prospect he was a year ago, and a year from now clubs will be saying "if he's so good why is he still playing in Brazil?", so now is a good time to cash in.

I hope we get a move on as regards to our transfers. Assnal have apparently triggered Fellaini's release clause and if he does go that would give them a beastly midfield. Obviously not as beastly as Sandro but still, impressive enough.

We cant be left behind in this 'arms race'. We just cant.

I would like to see Bernard, Villa and one of Damiao or Soldado. Then I could rest easy.

I believe im also right in saying that the only ITK we should be discussing is Baldini and Leandro eh, dont see any reputable info on anyone else today.

Will be interesting to see how long it takes for baldini to be confirmed and how soon after the leandro stuff comes to the boil, if at all of course, but i agree with others its now or never for inter, they wont get a good price for him beyond this season.

Fully agree about his stock dropping. After his amazing display at the Olympics last summer Inter were hoping that they'd get a host of big clubs vying for his signature, and they could then start a bidding war. He's picked up a couple of injuries since then and featured less for Brazil due to Scolari preferring Fred, flanked by Hulk and Neymar. There's no real competition for his signature that I can see. There were rumours about Napoli going for him in Italy recently, but I think they're turning their attention to Mario Gomez.

Is there any info on Damiao's injury? Is it possible that he is taking time out to look for houses in Hertfordshire (glass half full) or is it likely that he is going to fail a medical when we finally make an offer that Inter would accept (glass half empty)?

I didn't understand his comment. Was he saying he would get more vacation in general? Or that he was taking an immediate vacation? Maybe it was a translation issue
