Gallas isn't going anywhere... his experience and attitude has been a big plus for AVB apparently. For me a four of Verts, Kaboul, Gallas and Caulker is absolutely everything we need... and Gallas even at his age is quicker than Dawson.So forget sentiment, forget how much of a nice chap Dawson is and realise he simply isn't what we need at the back and it's perfect sense to cash in on him now.

There is a long-standing stand-off (for want of a better description) between Daws and the chairman over his contract. With that being said, I still don't buy us losing Bassong, Dawson, Nelsen and King in one window and signing only Vertonghen and Caulker. We were short last season with six centre backs, to go to four would seem extreme.

That all is true but what it comes down to is even if AVB rated Gallas and Dawson the same, Dawson would still be the one to go because we can and did get 9 million quid for him. What would Gallas be worth? Significantly less I'm sure.

Yes, I`ve seen him rip teams to pieces several times, that said they were mostly Ukranian league teams, apart from the time he ripped the Goons apart in the CL a few years ago and us in the Uefa cup, so you might be right....

I agree, although I'd imagine Gallas' wages are pretty high. It wont really even out but we'd save a bit getting rid of Gallas but I'm fine with him staying.

It's a combination of Fox Soccer/ESPN like last year. Although ESPN is doing a lot more games this year.

The Whitecaps' right mid (Dane Richards) is probably better than Bentley. They have a centre forward (Darren Mattocks - 21 year old Jamaican) who I would really like to see in a Spurs shirt.

Yep - just switched from cable to DirecTV and get that same channel. Cable to satellite is like DOS to Windows, btw.
