Harry Kane has spoken to DL, after the THST release. He is itching to be allowed to leave. Not sure DL will allow that. Hugo wants MLS.
Well that brightens up everyone's day...... ?
Thanks Herc for the info.

Well, shocked that Kane is driven by the THST minutes but c'est la vie. Be a world record when he goes.

Isn't this the same piece of info that Gards shared last night?

Yes, but because Garda uses twitter and is anti Levy he’s dismissed as a bad egg who we should ignore ( even though JJ has consistently said he does have sources at the club).

The news is hardly surprising anyway. Kane is in his peak years ( and arguably due to his injuries could have already reached it). Like all top players he wants to win stuff. Playing in a super cool stadium isn’t enough.

If he wasn’t having serious thoughts about his future I’d question his ambition and sanity.

Although we should apply the salt as always.

Best of luck Harry your talent and work rate deserve better so can't blame you for doing it.

I know some people will use this to beat José with but wasn't one of the big reasons he was brought in was to keep our star players onside - doesn't look like that's the case

Yeah sure thing. I always thought it was the lack of wages that would drive him away, now it's the winning things label.

All seems grand though. Who knew the THST minutes would lead to such bad bad things.

Yeah I’m not sure I buy the THST meeting being the decisive factor. I’m sure Kane can see for himself what a shit show we are.

Well, he'd be giving plenty back if he were to leave. Fair play to him.

Levy won't entertain anything other than a world record fee for Kane. As good as Kane is, will any club seriously sanction a move like that for an injury prone 27 year old striker?

It was also said that he was sounded out about Mourinho joining and was happy with his appointment.

The impression I got was that Kane was one of those who had enough of Poch and his voice was the one listened to which accelerated the change, so that would leave a bit of a sour taste if he then left without giving the new manager a proper crack. Though admittedly I can understand why he is considering his future.

Thanks @Hercules

So sad, Kane always said he'd stay as long as we matched his ambition, so I don't blame him. This is all on Levy.

Firstly, we should do everything we can to keep Kane.

However, his injury record the last couple of years doesn't bode well for his future, we can all see he isn't the same striker he was, I don't think he is worse just different.

If he wants to leave, Levy has to sell and get it done quickly. The squad needs a proper rebuild and if we can get £150m+ added to whatever transfer funds we have for the summer, I'd do it. That is a proper transfer fund and will allow us to strengthen in nearly all areas.

My only hope is Kane knows how much pressure the board will be under if our favourite son was sold and is using that as leverage after not being filled with confidence from the message coming out of that meeting.
