This is getting but boring, but Hudd is going to Stoke for 6 months due to a recall option so there goes that whole year bollocks

Modric wasnt injured for nearly 2 years with same injury so you cant compare at all really

It's a 12 month loan. And I just did compare. You do not loan a senior player out for 12 months who is in your plans. He is being loaned out to prove his fitness to buyers, because he wouldn't be able to prove that here because he isn't in AVB's plans.

Would love Dembele. Much cheaper and just as capable as Moutinho to replace Modric. Have doubts it would happen....just get the sense AVB is fixated on Moutinho and him only.

On JD

- knew qn was coming, braced himself for it, difficult for him to talk about
- player who I have immense confidence in > Struggled to find the right word and came up with confidence and was subsequently amused by his own choice of words
- hoping that he will continue to be a tottenham player in the future > I can't say definitely but I sense either he is happy about his striking situation or genuinely tickled if JD is still around for long (any ITK update on JD?)

On Modrat
- conflict within myself quite split here
- either he is the most upfront and honest here so far or totally giving a rehearsed response.
- totally knew qn was coming and totally knew how he would handle it
- Deadline day or as most speculated will not be announced before arrivals

Are you a psychologist or did you study something along those lines? If not, then what are you basing this on? Are you divulging this from seeing him shimmy in his seat after answering a particular question? Not trying to dig you out or anything, just intrested as to where you are getting these assertions from.

Not trying to knock the info here, but I think it a bit strange that Watford would sign Cudicini since they've already got Almunia in.

Almunia nearly threw a couple into his own net in the game I saw Watford play the other day, grade A clown, not even suitable for the Championship it would seem... Carlo's better.

Haha, not surprising. Incredible to think he's played 175 matches for the Woolwich Wanderers.

Why do you care how much we spend on him? It isn't your money.

I care.

I care about our club and how it is run, do you want to see us as Leeds ended up a few years back? Rangers now? No.

If DL started to throw crazy money about on signings and landed us in the shit financially it would have a domino effect. Buy crap players for inflated prices, team becomes poor, finish lower down the table, earn less money, no european competition, cant attract good players, end up in debt, and so on....

It would be a downward spiral that would end up with us all cursing the choices made by the managment, saying things like, "why did the chairman waste £20m on payer x? We could have had player y for £10m and been better off". Thats a very simplistic way to view it I know and there would be a lot more to it than that but it would all be relative to the club going backwards.

If the people in charge didn't look after the finances the way they do, getting every last penny they can in transfers, paying as little as possible, there is every chance we wouldn't be where we are today. Good football clubs now days are generally run like very good business', its the way the modern game has gone.

There is lots more to it and I could go on but I think you can see where I am coming from.

I for one think that DL does a fantastic job with the way he runs our club, we are not in debt, new staduium, training facilities, team getting stronger and stronger each year. He is one of, if not, the best chairmen in the game. We are lucky to have him I think.

Ps, it is our money (in a way), season tickets, shirt sales etc.

this makes sense actually.

Still, never heard of this guy before, is he new or something? I don't think there are many ITKs on THTV, I rarely see any in the RO.

There arent many but this guy has just recently started posting and has some really good info....very detailed

Yep, I think the same but Archibald or Roger Morgan mentioned that he was going there a few weeks ago

So we could potentially be losing arguably our 3 best players (King, Modric, VDV) in one window? It's hard enough replacing one of them let alone 3
