We're not privvy to how it all works but I'm pretty confident that if we have 'massive profits' they wont be stuck under Levy's mattress or in a current account. Any large sums should be invested in some way which might dictate what can be released and when. It's quite possible that there's not a massive amount on tap in January specifically because it's not a great time to be buying.

I dont doubt the money will stay with the club - I really dont know why they are sitting on the cash though - any profits we pay more tax on.

Transfers are usually not the whole fee paid up front either.

I assume they are having some difficulties offloading Wanyama cos of his knees. I feel so bad for the guy. He was a beast on his day. And was a total team guy. Unlike some others, whose name rhymes with Fanny Nose.

Being so active in January is just a confirmation that the previous windows were massively fucked up ala Harry Jan 2009. .
