D1 regarding Dybala

I can tell you this last summer a deal was done and I mean done , the player even prepared a leaving video for juve fans

the deal did not fall apart to naming rights but his agent pulling a last min stunt which we could not abide by

if juve are in financial trouble which bearing in mind Ronaldo and Ramsey’s wages alone I strongly suspect then stranger things have happened

unlike bale who we have never got close to because of wages we have here so I think we have some chance

My stomach sank a little bit when I read this ... thinking how differently last season could have gone with Dybala coming in and rejuvenating the moral of the squad. ?

One part of me: Wooohoooooo!

Other part of me: Membership and season ticket renewals are obviously down - let's create a false excitement.
Nothing in Dragon1's itk suggest Spurs are actively trying to do anything related to Dybala or put out news to build up false excitement that they are. Only confirming that we did come close last summer. The rest is entirely speculation about whether or not we would try again.

We have a restricted budget and as per ITK we’ve been told most of our targets are already in the media and they cost between £10-20m. We’re also not to expect any big signings as Covid has knackered our budget. How any of this equates to signing Dybala for €60-90m is beyond me.

We'd obviously have absolutely 0 chance at signing Dybala - he'd have the biggest clubs in the world courting him for one, and secondly, we're Europa League nobodies for next season. No idea why Dragon keeps incorrectly asserting that we paid 42m for Ndombele either.

D1 Regarding Ndombele

Jose thinks he is lazy and overweight

the only way he goes is if we get our 42 million back

Well, if we can not our money back what then? Having Tanguy most of the time on the bench or in the stands because our coach does not plan with him?
Should really consider any offer as long as he has some kind of reputation. Such a shame but we should not have our 2nd best paid player as a squad player.

Obviously I would take Dybala all day long, I was gutted when it fell through last time. If we can go into next season with Lo Celso and Højbjerg sat behind him then our midfield would be up there with the best.

Should have said he was responding to the press report that Dybala has been offered to us.

Think the 42m figure comes from the amortization on the ~54m figure; i.e. willing to accept a little less as the 42m is still what’s owed to Lyon.

Dragon. Again with the ndombele figure that’s so obviously wrong. Has no one told him that Lyon actually announced the fee?

Dybala would likely have other, more attractive suitors this summer. Our time was last summer to get him, and that didn't happen, so it's time to move on. That being said, I'd love to be wrong.

Dybala...fook off,I'm not doing to myself. if Mou doesn't want Ndombele we should cash in,we don't want squad unrest going into a new season, massive shame as his potential is huge. My gut thinks he'll go! As a replacement id go all out for Grealish!

I may finally have use of my Spurs Dybala shirt from last year. It's currently sitting in a drawer with my Rivaldo, Morientes and Falcao shirts ?

At this point Juve have apparently put Dybala up for sale and we're being mentioned due to the deal we nearly did last year. HOWEVER, Juve's issue is money, particularly spent on wages. They need to get rid of Ramsey and Dybala so won't be wanting to take Ndombele in return.

Fabrizio Romano has tweeted today that Inter will be coming back for Ndombele after EL is finished. So, we'd have to sell TN to Inter for pretty big money and then somehow structure a deal Juve like - Upside is that the deal we arranged previously might help us here - but after all that you gotta convince the player.

This time around we have EL and not CL but equally we have Mourinho and he's still a big pull for a lot players. Beyond that, does Dybala even fit what we're trying to do. He's best in a 10 role right? Maybe we'd have to consider selling Dele as well. There's a shit ton of moving parts in that one.

In summary, it's happening.
