Seeing as Madness went down well yesterday here's another, this time, Driving in my Car by Madness​

I like reading ITK, it's fun hearing just what they say
I see rumours say that still, we're signing a bloke from brazil
I read update fifty-nine in it was said it's all fine
Rumour says we're signing more, Lap it up you rumour whore
Read the forum from your job, workmates think you lazy slob
But we don't really care, give us ITK and we're set fair

Info's old but that's just fine, it gets repeated all the time
Just last week the deal was off, moving goalposts & complications

Today the info will be real, they learned not to say its 'done deal', ha ha ha

I love reading ITK, we all love hearing what they say
The news is good the news is bad, why let it all make you sad
Just take rumour as it comes, if not then i'll see your mums
Duty Free done the other day, you're mistaken what could I say
Sometimes the info's a little worn, but we're OK, I have the horn
Blue and Yellow the man said, man I thought that one was dead

I love hearing brand new stuff, forget Twitter, that's all guff
I love info and i'm pining, just who is this double signing
Will today bring some good news, take a chance we just can't lose
I like ITK so far, I'm satisfied I've got this far

Felt pretty much that Man City used this reporter to launch a smear campaign against Ade, so there's no reason for it not to be accurate if they just gave him on the info in exchange to smear Adebayor.

Interesting that the article doesn't say what the problem/hold up is at all. It's basically "Here are some facts about large amounts of money, Ade is a bad person."

It's a very funny article though. Man City are lovely people!

Adebayor needs to come to terms that he can't keep funding his charities at his current level, he has been very lucky to get wages way above his station for so long and also with another 2 years on offer from City.

Wednesday is the day we finally sign a Striker..... That said if it aint today i cant see it anything happening until Monday or Tuesday next week..... then a full week and a half of comings and goings.

Will be interesting to see what POTL has to offer today, however the way it was worded I'm assuming it's not particularly good news regarding this weekend. Absolutely gutted that we're going into another season unprepared - in fact, we're worse off for strikers now - and particularly with a new manager coming in with immense pressure on him we should really have paid the extra couple of millions to have at least one striker sorted by now.

Regarding Lloris there is some truth in what Jean-Michel has said in that he has rejected a bid for the keeper. But Lloris was given permission to talk to Tottenham and all personal details have been agreed. Initially they were only a couple of million out in valuation but that has been sorted. There is a small hold up there end which has to be sorted but major delay is still waiting for Tottenham to finalise deal. If you recall I said that Daniel Levy was not negotiating the deal but now told that there was contact between Daniel Levy and Jean-Michel at some point.

I was told on Monday that Luka Modric to Madrid (to quote) “was imminent.” It depends on your definition of imminent in order to put a timescale on it.

At this time I’ve got no information on M’Vila and Capoue links but they don’t surprise me.

Tottenham definitely keeping tabs on Nathan Redmond. They have good relations with Birmingham and have been asked to be informed of any bids. I may have more to come on this.
