@DesFitzgerald07
@jetsetyid Is leandro still on for this window or have we moved on to a different target?

@jetsetyid
@DesFitzgerald07 If I answer this question 2000 will follow it!

make of that what you will
I pretty much asked him the same question last night moo and didn't get a response. I'd like to think that the lack of response is a positive sign but I think it's more likely that I'm not someone he recognises. We can still hope though. ;)

I didn't believe it. I questioned it lol

Haha sorry, wasn't talking about you. The second part of his tweet fits in with those reports that we could have had him a few years back, which is sad :(

I think despite what the ITK Tweeters are saying that M'Vila is far more likely to head for Arsenal now Song has departed. Sahin is not a similar type of player at all. M'Vila would actually give them some defensive solidity in midfield to go with all the flair fuckers.

Come on JJ, give us snifter ? Who's striker No.2

I tried asking over twitter (like a couple of others, I think) if the second striker would complete Blue and Yellow, but no reply yet. Not sure what to make of the silence. :)

..

Fucking hell, here I go again, clutching at ITK straws, begging and hoping that we'll sign a striker. I'm even going so far that I'm thinking no reply means we are trying to sign a player. Thank fuck the transfer window closes in just 10 days.

Do people really need Jj to confirm we wont be signing Dzeko, Lewandowski, or Cavani? Quite irritating when JJ only answers so many questions and people waste them on shit that is common sense.

I hope JJ can confirm that we are not getting rid of Daws. Would be gutted if we let him go.

Whilst I don't disagree with you at all, players who agitate for moves are not loyal & should not receive loyalty bonuses, in reality it all depends on what is written in his contract.

I think, and the lawyers on here should be able to either back me or correct me, that it all depends on whether his actions constitute a breach of contract. As I understand it, once he has 'breached' then he will be unable to enforce the 'loyalty' clause in his contract. If Levy is flat refusing to pay the bonus, my guess is that this is the reasoning behind the refusal.

Striker situation: AVB has stated that Kane is third choice and has said Defoe is staying. Ade has joined leaving no one left. however ITK such as JJ are stating one more in.. could it be that Hulk fits the bill as in a way he is and isn't a striker?
there were some odd things going on when Akqayid twitted a couple of weeks back that he was "green with envy" (which we all thought was in relation to Hulk and envy on Chelsea's part), promptly followed by a jj twitter out of the blue saying that: Silence is because nothing has been done yet (not wanting to give away our targets we presume). Alkqayid then denies the Hulk link saying that he's simply having a pub conversation. in other words JJ has told him to be quiet on this one.

Dont get why people keep going on about Juventus being bigger than us!

Errr start here:

Italy's most successful club of the 20th century,[22] and the most successful club in the history of Italian football,[20] Juventus have won the Italian League Championship, the country's premier football club competition, a record 28 times and have the record of consecutive triumphs in that tournament (five, between 1930–31 and 1934–35).[37] They have also won the Italian Cup, the country's primary cup competition, nine times, holding the record number of wins—overall and consecutives—for the latter.[71]
Overall, Juventus have won 53 official competitions, more than any other team in the country; 42 in the national First Division, which is also a record, and 11 official international competitions,[72] making them, in the latter case, the second most successful Italian club in European competition.[73] The club is currently fourth in Europe and seventh in the world with the most international titles won officially recognised by their respective association football confederation and FIFA.[23] They have won the UEFA Cup three times, a record they share with Liverpool and Internazionale.[74]
The club has earned the distinction of being allowed to wear two Golden Stars for Sport Excellence (it. Stelle d'oro al Merito Sportivo) on its shirts representing its league victories, the tenth of which was achieved during the 1957–58 season and the twentieth in the 1981–82 season. Juventus were the first Italian team to have twice achieved the national double (winning the Italian top tier division and the national cup competition in the same season), in the 1959–60 and 1994–95 seasons.
The club is unique in the world in having won all official international competitions,[27][29] and they have received, in recognition to win the three major UEFA competitions[26]first case in the history of the European football[25] The UEFA Plaque by the Union of European Football Associations on 12 July 1988.[75][76]
The Torinese side was placed 7th—but the top Italian club—in the FIFA Clubs of the 20th Century selection of 23 December 2000.[77]
Juventus have been proclaimed World's Club Team of the Year twice (1993 and 1996)[78] and was ranked in 3rd place—the highest ranking of any Italian club—in the All-Time Club World Ranking (1991–2009 period) by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics.[79]
