but is it imposibruu? Would prefer Higuain tbh anyway...
Might change if RVP goes to RM???a certain someone said theres no chance
His value may well go down, but it probably shouldn't. He is about the least athletic player in the top flight. He completely replies on his skill on the ball and vision. He could very easily be like Giggs and play until his mid or even late thirties unless he gets seriously injured. If one of the German sides linked offer £20m for VDV then I can see him being sold. VDV turns 30 next year and his price will begin to go down rapidly. Personally I would not want it to happen. However it all depends on how much there is to spend. If the money is required in order to go towards buying strikers then am ok with the sale. However if there is enough money already within kitty to purchase strikers then I can't really see the logic. The ideal scenario for me would be for us to sign Oscar and gradually introduce him instead of VDV this season (plenty of games plus question marks over VDV's fitness at times) and then sell VDV next summer when Oscar is hopefully ready to be fully first choice. Again all this is dependent on how much money Levy is giving AVB.
But you're forgetting that VdV already has injury problems with his hamstrings, I believe. The reason why he struggles to complete games for us.His value may well go down, but it probably shouldn't.
