Wellif we offload BAE at EUR 7M and Shaw comes in at EUR 12M, I think we should go for it. But the probalem is this kid is still 18yrs and there is no gurantee he will succeed but he could turn out as another Bale.

Oczipka from Frankfurt is a very good left back and a cheap one, but I don't know if AVB is willing to take that gamble. I assume Steffen must know him, so maybe...

I thought there was info (don't want to say ITK as I don't recall) that Shaw was staying at Soton and the only club he'd consider moving to was Chelsea as he supports them. I don't think Mourinho's arrival would put the kid off...
