AVB to be our manager and Tim Sherwood his assistant. Avb will help him learn the ropes and tactical knowledge etc etc. Then Levy sacks AVB and appoints Tim as manager saving millions on wages.

Lol at tim learning the ropes and tactical knowledge. Tim couldnt have been more out of his depth and tactically naive with showing no signs of improvement.

which makes sense, but the flip flopping between de boer and pochettino isn't good

especially if the board/backroom/tea lady all have a different idea of who to bring in

My point exactly...If when we sacked AVB, Levy was interested in LVG (1st choice) and apparently also spoke to De Boer but was told to wait until the end of the season and then LVG opted for Man U, then Levy will want to get someone experienced in:
1. Maintain our best players
2. Tactically sound
3. More experience to deal with both youth and top players
4. Develop someone that has our club at heart to become a long term manager.

My little bit of ITK is that David Ginola is very, very interested in this. I pm Mods way back in April and informed them of his interest and he is still waiting. He definitely wants a role in Spurs.

I personally think it will be out of De Boer or Benitez but we are watching the Real Madrid situation...which I think sooner or later will go to Zidane.

We all know Levy will fight tooth and nail for either keeping our best players or selling them at huge profits, IMHO that why he would go for a more experienced coach.

Man U have already got a manager with a set up that we wanted - LVG training Giggs.
Now its up to us.

Please note that I wouldn't mind Pochetino, so this is not a "Poche" bashing.

If it was going to be Pochettino then I think it would have happened by now. Levy has definitely gone back in for De Boer in my opinion. Probably wanted De Boer to back down in some regard and by Pochettino emerging as the new favourite in the papers, De Boer cam crawling back saying 'yes Lord Levy, I shall work for only £1 an hour....' or something along those lines

Does anyone else get really fucking excited when they go to the forum menu and see the SCITK option in bold, or is it just me?!?

Daniel Levy pushed his arms out behind his back, stretched out his legs and gave out a great big yawn as he leant back in his padded office highchair. "I suppose i'd better get on with choosing a new patsy" he thought to himself as he reached into a drawer, took out a handful of photographs and spread then over his desk.

"But who do I choose?" he pondered as he looked at each one in turn. His photoshop guru had really done well with these he mused. The first one showed a topless Rafa Benitez being clipped around the ear by Basil Fawlty as his artfully applied breasts dangled freely down to his bellybutton, the second had Frank De Boer dressed in a lycra mini skirt, stockings and suspenders and a pair of clogs, with his lips painted bright red and a chain hanging from a piercing in his nose down to a nipple clamp and the final one showed Pocchetino naked and on all fours wearing a spiked dog collar and with Levy himself holding the leash.

Levy's eyes kept going back to the Pochettino. He licked his lips. "No" He thought to himself, "I must be fair", so he placed them all evenly in a line. "I'm going to make this decision based on sound footballing considerations".

Levy paused, raised a finger and began.

"Ip Dip dog shit, you are not it" His finger ended on Benitez, he turned it face down. That leaves two.

"Ip Dip dog shit, you are not it" His finger ended on Pochettino, he punched the desk in frustration, "Fucks sake, how hard can it be….I'll start again"

"Ip Dip dog shit, you are not it" His finger ended on Pochettino again. Levy screamed.

"Sod it" He mumbled.

"I'll try again tomorrow"

Can we just clarify Ali Z whilst we're there.
He seems to have become a comedy figure recently, but I've not seen him actually Eatsonized.

I got myself blocked last summer for explaining why I didn't believe something he'd posted, so I'm not going to risk it again. He's apparently been verified by Prof and got a COYS badge, so the assumption has to be that he's kosher.
