So good morning stealth wankers.
The match last night was watched in absolute splendour at Waddle Towers and in an environment that happens so irregularly the TV had to be paused for it all to be taken in. Yes, Mrs Waddle was out. Baby was asleep, curry was ordered in (the expensive one, not the shit one we use when friends we only pretend to like come round on a Friday) and even a few libations were enjoyed. All in all very satisfactory. The slow pace and lack of opposition more than compensated for by the sight of Sandro absolutely loving it and constantly chuckling, Carroll making me swoon with FORWARD passing and little Lewis Holtby finally settling down and not tearing about the place like the best kid on the playground who has to have the ball ALL the time. The only strange thing, other than Siggy visibly knowing that the harder he tries the less will come off, was (and those of you who accidentally read celebrity gossip/are told of such things by your Mrs will know) that every time JD got the ball, even after scoring, was me thinking "You nearly turned that bird off of X Factor into an alcoholic and apparently you're shit in bed". Disturbing stuff.
However, there were no on-pitch introductions of new players, no plinth with a blanket over which when pulled off revealed a toned and chiselled Lamela, just a cagey few words from AVB that some players may have had medicals. I'm starting to feel like Florentino fucking Perez with all this waiting and dragging things out. As my genitally challenged compadre said above, let's hope this is a day of signings. I have a late lunch at Rules where I am to remain sober for no longer than 15minutes after sitting down so I'd like our business done before then thank you very much.
Here's to a happy end to this frenetic week. As they say on reality singing shows, it's been a hell of a rollercoaster and let's hope the Lamella/Eriksen/Chiriches journey ends here.

It's not that impressive really.
You have to understand that A&C is a one man testicle-emanating machine. Whenever he loses one testicle he grows at least another three.
In some parts they call him the testicle-hydra. Fortunately though he doesn't come round to our house anymore.

I think if, at the start of the window, someone had said we'd sign:

then we would have all said, 'fuck off home mate you're drunk'.
And yet there is a reasonable chance that the above isn't even the final list (although I'm starting to think that Eriksen may be our final signing).

Without any outgoings a shiny new LB and I'm happy. Even without one I'm happy, but a top draw LB would be nice.
