Lol yea... To be honest, despite me personally not caring because I never search though every page in a thread anyway, all and every page of this thread would be interesting if it was on topic, which makes it a lot better for those who do like to read through the whole thread.

The other stuff may as well be in a 'Daily Bullshit' thread. But hey, I don't want to contribute too much to being off topic, but that's just my opinion.

It only goes in there if the source is approved and somebody puts it in there. So new posters like LLM are missed if you don't trawl through this thread, and if you are trawling through here to see what has been posted, then off-topic 'banter' is as annoying as fuck, particularly if you're short of time.

I'm not disputing LLM's info, but he either

a) Hasn't disclosed his source to the powers that be, so isn't considered ITK so its purely up to you whether you believe it or not to go with the 1000's of other unverified 'ITK' lot. If he has been verified then really you need to...

...b) Tell the mods/admins to sort it out and make sure his stuff makes it into the Read Only.

And as has been said, you could just search his profile (or anyone else you want info from) for his latest posts. Simple stuff.

Random question, but has there been much ITK about us looking for a "strictly-DM" type of player?

Everything I have seen has Parker and Hudd sold with Livermore loaned out.

While having Sandro coming back to health is huge and Paulinho with the ability to function as a DM, I would hope that we would be looking for a guy to provide a direct backup to Sandro given his injury history.

I'm still hoping for Junior Malanda. I keep reading things about him, and at 18, Belgian and a very strong/technical talent at 18 would be a great squad addition. He can always get matches with our U21s and form as functional depth for Sandro.

Not saying we are still interested in him but I think a lot off the players we seemingly were interested in and haven't heard about in a while, is just because we have other fish to fry first and there is only so much you can do at once.

I am confident we will revisit a few names we haven't been linked with for a while once we have concluded other deals first.

Spot on. I can't believe some people on here can be so pompous as to think they should police the thread.

There are plenty of mods on here who are not backwards in coming forwards to get a thread back on topic when necessary, so let them get on with it.

Cannot understand those who go around constantly neg repping posts either. Unless someone posts something offensive it just seems petty to me.

This thread is my first port of call when I get in to work every morning and if it wasn't fot the banter and the laughs it wouldn't be the same.

Okay, my last on the subject:

The point is that unless you read this thread you won't know that LLM is a member of the site, that he has posted, or that he might be ITK. So searching his user name is hardly relevant. Nor is it relevant if info from users on other sites is put in this thread and doesn't make it to the RO. So while searching profiles can work (and I - and I'm sure others - use it) it is no substitute for reading the thread.

As for telling the mods and admins what to do, it's their site and the way they moderate the RO is fine with me.
