Important to note for everyone clambering for a striker...

Jose: "It's important that we are all together on this. We don't want just a striker to be helpful now, we want a striker who would be good for us and good for our future."

The market is very thin right now for that sort of profile.

It’s crap. We’d get someone if we wanted to. It’s not that hard. It’s actyally pathetic

Am i missing something about the Dybala situation? From what I remember, we busted our asses trying to get that done and it fell apart because of stupid legalities over licensing issues.

How in the hell is that on Levy?

Levy is the real cause behind climate change and the coronaviruses, did you not know he just loves being a ****.

It's almost like Bergwijn and Fernandes didn't happen isn't it
We went into the window desperately needing a RB, DM and ST. We are ending it without addressing any of these problem positions. Bergwijn and Fernandes were transfers of convenience rather than transfers of needs.

Would we though? Who's actually available to us that would meet what Jose wants?

Both Chelsea & United have been unable to sign a striker they both crave, so it proves the market is ridiculous at the moment.

Sounds like he's talking about a younger promising striker, sure we have one of them somewhere not getting a chance

No mate, I'm pleased with the two deals we've done but I'm talking about no striker coming in.

What good striker is going to come in for 4 months and then play second fiddle to Kane? Morata said it him self "Why would I come when you have Kane".

How do you propose we sign one in the summer then?

Chelsea have 3 strikers and so do united and united may well sign King and out need is much much greater. There are several players we clearly looked at and would
Only do a loan. But spent money on SB. Makes no sense. There are no excuses

We wont sign a good established striker ever, while we have Kane, I don't understand why anyone thinks we would, genuinely don't get it. Both Son and Steve can and have played there. Why would we spend £20 odd million pound Striker to sit on the bench?

City back up striker, Jesus -£27M a number of seasons ago
Liverpool back up striker - Orgi, average at best
United back up striker - Don't really even have an out and out striker
Chelsea back up striker - Giroud

@robertobaggio not that I'm particularly bothered, how can you dislike that post... disagree sure.

How does that make no sense. SB is clearly part of a future rebuild project. He's young. He's a potential upgrade on what we have and was available for fairly decent money. I don't recall there having been a striker available in the same bracket this transfer window. Piatek looks guff, William Jose looks guff and neither are young. Giroud, Benteke, Nando et all are shirt term options. Who else was available or fits the bill?

The argument is nonsense. Every club has at least 2 strikers and kane shouldn’t play every game as we are killing him.
ITK has said that Kane will be better managed next season and even when fully fit will sit out a lot more minutes than he has done up to now.
