I know it's random, but I'd rather we went for Douglas Costa (the little Brazilian from Shakhtar). His monetary value dropped by a couple of million in the last 6 months (mainly because of the influx of all the Brazilians @ that club, he didn't get many opportunities to play). The kid is absolute class, and imho his price tag wouldn't be that much higher than Chadli's. Just saying.

He was linked to Man Utd for 20m just a few months ago. Shahktar don't have a reputation for letting players go cheaply. Up until about 3 weeks ago the only Brazilians they signed in the last year are a LB a Striker and Taison (LW) but they lost Willian in that time. In the last 3 weeks they have bought Fred (LW/AM), Fernando (DMC) and Wellington Nem (AM) but they have also lost Mkhitaryan. He also started their first game of the season a couple of days ago (playing RW).

True but he's obviously more of a "creative" player than a goes for goal type winger

For what it's worth, Shakhtar have already made a bid for Chadli but been turned down by the player. Might be better to buy him before he gets priced out of our reach like Willian... Forget the bollocks about us leeching off the Scousers' scouts, we should be gazumping Porto and Shakhtar for young players any chance we get.
