I can't ever remember being impressed by Can at Liverpool. If I remember correctly he played out of position a lot - a lot of games in defence because of injuries, something like that?

He doesn't seem to have torn the house down at Juventus, but that's a tough team to break into, let alone impress in.

He Impressed sarri when he came in but Juve need wages off the books so from what I read he never stood a chance as he was picked to be one of the ones to leave.
He's a step up from dier so I'm all for it

Can is going to Dortmund, I thought it was all agreed?

In the can mate? I only ever watch Spurs so I have no idea how good he is. Or Bergwijn. Or Jose. Or Piatek. And trying to find videos on this new fangled u toob is altogether too much effort. I am very heartened to hear the ITK saying we're not sitting on our hands though. Most important bit of business is making Lo Celso permanent. Boy's going to be a star.

Can isn't a DM.....doesn't have the defensive nous to play that role imo. Not really an all out more attacking player as lacks the mobility and although passing is by no means bad, it isn't brilliant either. Just find him bit of a jack of all trades, master of none type who is capable of having a cracking game now and again which makes people take notice but over the course of a season, consistency isn't going to be there. He is on a very good wage at Juve to after going there on a free. Could be useful in the squad but personally, would give him a miss.

Yep hoping the cryptic is referring to Sangare not Can but doesn't look like that's the case :(

If it is can (and really does seem like it is) then likely to be a loan deal so low risk and unless he suddenly loses a leg on the way to the medical then would have him ahead of our other options at CM plus he's a winner from his time in Juve and that's something we need especially if we have any hopes of finishing 4th this season

Assume this means Bergwijn OR Piatek / Willian J - so just one player joining

The info is on Willian Jose. So it means it will be him or Piatek - they've narrowed the shortlist down to those two.

I assume Bergwijn is a seperate issue, another attacker in for when Eriksen leaves.

I'm also hoping the cryptic is for the guy I've never heard of from the worst team in France. (Genuinely I am, always like a punt on young potential) Though I don't get why everyone is so convinced the cryptic was referring to Can, when the guy who first suggested it was clearly joking.

I read dragon’s info: ‘fourth has gone’ as a reference to signings, ie. the potential fourth signing is no longer an option.

Did he confirm what he meant by that? As the table suggests we are somewhat back in the race...

My first thought was that this was a typo and he was referring to Foyth leaving us, which is on the cards

I think it is an autocorrect typo. I think he means Foyth is gone.

Blimey, people write info clear as can be, yet there's still debate over hidden meanings. Bloody hell!

natural to ask questions when the info doesn’t seem to make sense.

top 4 has gone, yet we’re 6points off and a long way to go.
