Assuming it is fourth and not Foyth I guess it means we can't get any worthwhile big money players to make the difference now so there's no point throwing big money at players who aren't worth it because the odds are they won't get us fourth anyway and let's face it the odds are well against it. We are neck and neck with four other clubs and that's only to be the club that catches fourth who are well away not to mention the other five clubs we're only a long neck ahead of.
I'm inclined to agree if it means we take that view resolving to do the business in the summer because we are going to have to do that anyway if we buy the makeshift players now.
In the cold light of day I see Dragon's ITK as positive not negative.

RE outgoings, heard that there could be as many as 6 leaving the club by deadline for mixture of transfers and loans should all the deals currently being negotiated get over the line. Two of those deals are looking in the balance so could go either way. Other 4 are looking more likely.

I don't think its written off fourth I think its that there's a limit to what we can do to get fourth so he'll play the percentages.

I love Bale and would love to see him in a Spurs shirt again, but I have to admit that a lot of them feelings are based on sentimentality. I don't doubt he's a great player, but I'm not sure the Bale we would get is anywhere near the one who left and certainly not enough to get top 4 on his own.

For once Im taking this ITK with a truck load of salt. There is no way Levy is writing off the top 4 and the income that comes with it whilst we are only 6 points off. Especially when all teams bar the top 3 are very inconsistent.

I think it's slightly comical that so many people judge that Levy will only be upset by the lost revenue, perhaps he might want some success having been involved with the club for quite a while?
