We are going to be very strong this season and really be a force to be reckoned with.
Sorry but i do know what is happening with Gareth currently as of today and a load of crap being spoken. I appreciate all the other ITK's passing on info but you really have to take with a pinch(like mine) as you dont know how far they are from the source and who is telling their source. What i can guarantee (this is why i'm retiring)that they arent as close to the actual story as me. I dont mean that in a derogatory way at all its just a fact.
I personally really hope this all falls over and we get to keep Gareth however its just not the case unfortunately at this point in time.
I wont comment either on why AVB is saying something different.
Either way its going to be an exciting season for us IMHO.
COYS

Hopefully not a complete retirement...just moving out to pasture to join the other mysterious bleaters.

Well, the two posts of info in the RO today by Jasper and the other guy. I've got some info on the whole situation. My stance stays the same on the whole Gareth saga, I just have a bit more information on it all.

I won't be able to post it until tomorrow morning, I just need to check with someone that the info I post won't implicate my new contracts, and that someone at the club won't get in the shit, since literally only 4 people including myself know this. It's all very fresh at the moment, but will probably be filtered down to the media in a few days.

As I said, I stick with what I've always said, and the information I received today is far from bad news.

P:S - I'm not slating anyone info.

Cheers

This is the best transfer window ever!

Broke our record twice and we'll probably still bring more players in.

Go yids!

There are only a few elite clubs in the world and RM are one of them. There is not a player anywhere who would not want to play for them if they showed an interest.

So all this head turning and Bale being interested is pretty much what anyone would do so that is not even an issue for discussion.

However, I don't believe for one minute he wants or would hand in a transfer request so this is simply down to the club to decide if we keep him or not. For us to progress, we need Bale and don't you think Levy and AVB and the like understand this? Of course they do and in an ideal world they would want him to say.

However, every player has a price and if RM are prepared to played stupid money for one player then it has to be considered.

Tottenham are not going to die because Bale leaves. Throughout our history we have had great players come and go and this will continue into the future.

The simple fact is as it stands now AVB has made it clear the player is NOT for sale and the recent additions to the squad are to improve the team with Bale in it. For anyone to suggest that AVB is speaking against the collective view inside the club is frankly ludicrous.

It pretty much sounds to me that we will let him go if RM meet our high demands (£90M + Morata) which frankly they can't afford or are not prepared to do.

We all know Levy plays hard ball so it's either gonna go his way or no way at all meaning Bale stays.

Mystery without meaning to bust your balls but could you post your info early in the morning and in the read only as well as the thread to enable me to get on with my day instead of constantly trying to get my fix of what is going via yourself and all the other itks.

My name is Jimmy and I am a spurs community junkie.

Also, all these "broken promises" and "gentleman's handshakes" is utter nonsense. How can I be so sure? Because this simply does not happen at this level.

Agents have vested interests in themselves and their players and ensure they both make as much money as possible and they will do anything it takes to get the best deal. They would probably sell their own mothers if they could make a fast buck.

So Levy, a businessman, works on gentleman's handshakes and promises? Never happens.

JJ, in the spirit of the current questioning, could you answer a) how many points we'll get this season? b) how many goals we will score and conceded? and c) what will be the aggregate official home attendance for league and cup matches you remove all the left-handed people?

What's that? You can't predict the future?

Well, what's the ruddy point of coming in here, then?
THis ones easy
a) 79
b)gd of +14
c) 21,057
d) your mum

If we lose our best player I would certainly struggle to consider this our best window ever.

Is it realistic to believe we could get a stronger squad this season than United (City & chelsea have too much money and top players to be overtaken imo)

Who are our rivals? West Ham I think. At least that's what I read on KUMB.

I agree, though DL does sometimes come across as someone who may well say anything to get a deal done. Once a contract is signed however, it's Easyjet, Ryanair and being owned by the Mob.

I'm a little confused at our stance ATM. So itk (Jj) say that bale weren't to go (I know he probably will) how many other positions do u think we will fill in the squad. Or are we now on a sell to buy basis?
