Can anyone seriously explain how AvB is An upgrade on Harry. If this is true and this is the sum total of our ambition we are in big trouble.
Not only will our players be underwhelmed but how many of us would have swapped Harry for AvB in january.

I think this would make us an absolute laughing stock and can only see very lean times ahead.

Maybe we've given him the managers job then. With a pay rise plus all of harry's wages we can actually compete with the richers. I hope he likes practicing set pieces.

Turns out AVB was in Manchester today. Buying his custom-made car. Flew back to Algarve, via London. No talks with Spurs.

I would argue its because he can fit in with the clubs long term view of gradual development to establish ourselves at the top. AVB would want to bring in young, hungry players from all over Europe. Harry wanted to bring in old pros on frees with no potential development nor price appreciation.

Moving into a new training complex where we'll build up our academy and eventually into a new amazing stadium, we want to be growing as a club, not setting out with only a one season target which ultimately was how harry viewed our club.
