Olswang did all the Olympic Stadium stuff and have done our sponsorship deals before. Don't know if they do player transfers though.

There does seem to be a groundswell of ITK & rumours about Harry leaving, and it does "seem" to be from different sources.

No smoke, maybe...?

They would have to use a law firm for a contract termination like this. If you get made redundant your firm uses lawyers, this is no different as there will be an agreement to be signed.

On the confidentiality bit, a solicitor is indeed bound by client confidentiality, but how do you police it? My wife is a solicitor and tells me bits and bobs often - technically not allowed. What I don't do though is make the info public by sticking it on the Internet....

Would be surprised if they did transfers but might do employment stuff.

Screw all the other rumours, the heavyweights of info on this front - JJ, POTL, Archibald and Ryan - have all come up with the same answer.Talks are happening and the situation is muddied with no answer in place yet.

Whilst all other ITK is deeply appreciated, its pretty obvious that it tends to come from other sources further down the line ie agents, friends of friends of players, coaches etc, sources that are not as wired in and prone to gossiping. Its probably not direct info they themselves get, but snippets of info/rumour ,that they themselves are in a position to make an educated hypothesis from.

Adiepf's mistake is not in passing on the info, its in not seeing that the guy giving him the info is not as clued in as people like JJ, and is probably jumping to conclusions of info he is getting second hand, as opposed to the likes of JJ, POTL that are right in there and getting it first hand.

With none of these main guys saying that Harry is definitely gone right now, I see no reason whatsoever to believe that anybody does indeed know that he IS going, at this point.

Thats my take on it anyways...

On the topic of Lawyers not gossiping - simply not true.

My girlfriend used to work a for a criminal law specialist who occasionally would get big cases - sometimes big news would be leaked by flapping mouths or people not thinking before speaking.

Sometimes this would occur with lower level staff but occasionally the solicitors themselves would mention juicy gossip to friends.

So I'm not backing this particular rumour, but it does happen in high profile cases from time to time.

Yeah, from what I know from various professionals in professions eg doctors, lawyers etc...the confidentiality thing kind of disappears after a few drinks!

I can confirm that you don't need a few drinks to start the tongues wagging. I worked on the Wembley claim and the partners were yapping on about the case to all and sundry

So the only ITK has been something that could have been on Jessy Raphael

Redinds me of the time I was working in the museum. <CHORTLE, CHORTLE>, they sent me King Tutankhamun's codpiece by mistake...but I suppose <Regional Welsh Museum> really does sound similar to <Egypt Collection, British Museum>

'ITK' from Glory-Glory is always good for a laugh. It almost invariably involves a friend of a friend who happens to work at a solicitors' or the stock exchange, to be a 'well-known football agent', to be in the employ of a Hatton Garden jeweller where Daniel Levy is a regular customer, or some such. This is a sure sign that it's bollocks.

Why, I see it's Monday. Have we had confirmation of Mr Redknapp's departure?
