I think now for the first time since Barnes, McManaman and Gazza we have attacking players that like to run at defenders and scare them. Even experienced players will hate to play against this type of player.

It's probably just scaremongering, but several reports are saying Harry could miss the Euros. What should Southgate do if that is the case? Play Rashford/Abraham up front with Sterling and Sancho? Convince Vardy to make a comeback? Or go for a different system?

Danny Ings

I'd probably go for Abraham, think Abraham, Sancho and Sterling would be a really good front 3, not as good as it would be with Kane obviously but still enough to hopefully take us deep into the tournament.

I got a feeling he will go with Rashford though.

As it's the winter break, who has impressed you that might break into the next squad?

Surely Grealish will get his first cap. I was thinking maybe some of the Sheffield United lads, Calvert-Lewin, Harvey Barnes, Tanganga and Cantwell might get a chance too? Perhaps a couple of England career resuscitations for Ings and Redmond?

Ings would be a good back up for Harry.
Grealish should be ahead of Barkley now.
Tanganga has a chance if he keeps playing and others who were in the squad aren't.

Dean Henderson needs to get a tryout in goal. Pickford ain't cutting it and all other candidates have almost all fallen off a cliff form-wise.

Big Troy Deeney and Ings deserve a go. Deeney because he offers something different off the bench. Bit like crouch used to, only in a different way.

Just sitting down to watch the Maradona film that was on at the weekend and I’d like to share the time I saw him play. It was my first ever football my dad took me to. Was anyone else there that day, I’d love to know?

Based on regular football alone Foden shouldn't get into that squad ahead of Grealish.

Three right backs and no left backs. Brilliant.

Twitter is full of Gooners crying that Saka didn't make the squad, Villa fans crying that Grealish didn't make the squad and Leicester fans about Maddison.

Well I'd have saka for left back, but apparently having none is better.

So we're lining up with everyone on the right, like some freaky American Stupidball tactic? It's the last thing they'll expect!

Think Grealish might look to move on now. He must be getting fed up of constantly being overlooked.
