Mings looks like a good addition to the squad. Obviously not tested tonight, but he looked confident in difficult conditions.

Yeah fair play to him. Maintained his cool and looked good, what a crazy night for a debut.

Not read the thread but.....,

lived Wright’s reaction after Greg Clark spoke saying he wasn’t impressed. You could see the terror in Gabriel Clark’s face and was relived to go to the Mings interview.

re playing on, pretty obvious to me that the players 1) didn’t want their goals chalked off. And 2) didn’t want to miss the opportunity of scoring more. I don’t mean that disrespectfully, players thrive on statistics.

Winks played very well.
Always on the move and available.
Simple quick passes,
good changes of direction.
Like the boy.

I don’t think the players thought about their goals or stats for one second. I believe Sterling and Mings insisted they wanted to play on and the team supported them. Sterling himself has said before that playing on and punishing the opposition in these situations is the best answer

Exactly, giving Russia and Qatar back to back world cups shows us all we need to know

The Qatar stadiums are built on slavery and death. It’s fucking disgusting. FIFA and UEFA don’t care about that and racism tonight. Bulgaria will get a pathetic fine and that’s it.

Was it just me, or did anyone else note that the real killer balls played in came from Kane, yet whenever he got into good positions he was rarely, if ever, found. The only one I can think of was Henderson's ball in where he hit the post.
He found Sterling with regularity, yet Sterling was enormously wasteful whenever the opportunity to play in Kane was there.
It was telling that the one goal he scored he actually made himself.

They need someone in midfield capable of supplying those through balls, the others just aren't capable.

Unless the authorities do something now things will not change. Hopefully tonight was a point of no return where England came close to doing what UEFA and FIFA should do. Hard punishments, matches abandoned and teams kicked out of competitions will bring a change

Could we set up like this?

Kane a bit deeper with Lucas and Son in place of Rashford and Sterling.

Dele playing the Barkley role
Winks is Winks and then Ndom/GLC next to him
