Awful decision to give Germany a penalty against the Netherlands. De Jong turns around, doesn't know the ball has deflected above him and it drops down on his hand. Can't work out how VAR doesn't ask the ref to take a look at the monitor.

There definitely needs to be two tiers for European football so that teams don't have to play weaker nations. Countries like Scotland should be made to qualify for the qualifiers.

You mean like the four-tiered Nations League that was piloted last autumn and was a great success? The next step is for NL to play a bigger role in qualifying than it did this time.

Norway have to win to have a chance of qualifying after pissing away a two goal lead in the home game.

Norway have a good side for the next four or more years with talents like Ajer, Berge, Ødegaard and Haaland who are all under 22 but I think this Euros will come too soon for them.
