Think dublin will just edge cork, should be a cracking game and then dublin to beat limerick in the final!
have to say i agree. i think cork are not as good as in years past. dublin can play very badly at times, though.

Also if dublin win the hurling it will soften the blow when they lose the football to mayo in the final ;)

Great game indeed! Looking forward to the final and hoping this can finally be mayos year, although history isn't exactly on our side we have to do it sometime. Will be a cracking final though

I just got back to the UK yesterday after studying in Cork for the year, gutted I wasn't able to stay a few more days to watch the final there.

Great game though! Clare much the better team with the ball and got a bit unlucky with some of the ref's decisions, but credit to Cork for staying in it!

Come on the Rebels in the replay!!

Cork should have been down to 14 men most of the game. Poor refereeing in general throughout! Though Clare were fantastic, especially Colin Ryan, he's from the same village as my Dad.

UP THE BANNER!!

Harsh on Clare I thought today but hopefully they can still do it in the replay!

At least the gaa will be happy with another sold out croke park for their coffers

Was a very good game I thought. Hurling >> Gaelic football for me, it's not even close. Just met most of the traffic heading back down the M7, at almost a standstill. Poor bastards heading back to Cork, long day out. Better than heading back after a defeat though!

Ah well that's it gone for another year for the football! Better team won on the day and hopefully mayo can finally get over the line next year although that is now six finals I have watched us lose so wont hold out too much hope :(

Well done dublin and come on Clare for the hurling

was a good physical game. i thought mayo would come flying out of the blocks then tire as the game went on...and that's pretty much how it went. we were cynical as fuck there the last 5 minutes or so...maybe excused by the fact that we had 2 players that could barely walk at the end. still, the outcome was deserved i thought. the first brogan goal killed mayo...took away all the momentum they had and reminded dublin we could score too. mayo will definitely be back..but so will the dubs, along with donegal and kerry and maybe a few out of tyrone, galway or derry.
