God maybe I am a sadist, but I love watching the goons fall apart completely. The fans hate the players and the manager and players hate and blame the fans. They took Giroud off their arsenal fan tv page as well.

This is just so brilliant to watch because on the other hand we are just a bundle of joy and the complete opposite to them and now six points ahead. Oh and his missus and entire family are yids!!!

Posts like this are just asking for trouble! If they win their game in hand they're only 3 points behind! 3 points, that's 1 win!!!

Mind the gap. Traditionally when they go out of all competitions in one week, which Barca will make happen, they go on a winning run. Because their gutless players love to stroke it around when there is no pressure.

Maybe and even if they still finish above us. We are still a together unit who is young and full of passion which will keep building upon. Arsenal are old and stale and if Ozil and Sanchez leave they are up shit creek.

As long as we get CL football next season we will only go strength to strength. The title is only what dreams are made of but a successful season for me is us getting CL football.

Arsenal are still falling apart regardless if they finish above us.

A lot will depend on the manner of their champions league exit I think

I say this every year

If they have some kind of moral boosting performance and go out on their sword it will help galvanise them and they will probably go on a strong run in the league

If they get a heavy beating and go out in disgrace it is likely their heads will drop further and they will have a slightly extended spell of poor form and dropped points before picking up and going on a run

It's important for barca not to step off the gas because the job is done and to bury them in the home leg

I don't really get what their problem is.

It's as if they're mentally incapable of coping with us being ahead of them. They've won back to back FA Cups, have a glamour tie against Barca (no shame in going out to them either), got a good result against us last week, and if they win their game in hand they're only 3 points behind us (well, 4 really considering our goal difference).

I can understand them being pissed off if the season had finished, but seems a bit of a strange time (a critical point in the season) for their fans to combust as they have.

Not saying I have a problem with it - just that it seems odd.

You genuinely sound as if you've never been in Spurs Chat after a defeat :)

Both arsenal and man utd fans have a massive sense of entitlement

If they're 35 or younger they grew up pretty much knowing nothing but continuous success for their club

They don't appreciate success they expect it

The second their club has a rough patch they completely throw their toys out of their prams and pretty much abandon their clubs as supporters

I've heard many man u and arsenal fans calling for managers to be sacked in the most knee jerk fashion in the last few years, going on strike as fans and saying they will start supporting again once things change etc etc

They make me sick, they don't even know what it is to see their team face hard times. Their worst season in the last 15 years has pretty much been as good as out best in that time

I so hope we see a shift in power in North London and a sustained period of spurs dominance so their self entitled little cry baby fans can wallow in it

Fair points. I guess that with the way the other big teams have been performing, they're struggling to comprehend how us and Leicester are ahead of them in the title race.

The hate building up against Wenger has been amusing to watch, but in terms of league finishes they've probably been the most consistent team over the last 10 years.

Yea they have been consistent

But consistent below where they expect to be and feel they are entitled to be

No club is entitled to sustained success, their fans are ridiculously arrogant in that respect (in my opinion)

I really hope they have a sustained period of being also runs in the league - it would be interesting to see what percentage of their fan base stayed loyal if they lost their position as a top club

From my personal observations and interactions with their fans that I know they could well see a massive drop off

I would've preferred today to be a loss for them in the league, but it's enjoyable nonetheless. However, I'm not going to run NH mouth or speak to soon, the season is far from over.

I used to believe this (even earlier this season) but it is a myth based on the 12/13 season.

14/15 Season
9 games before their last CL game - Won 8, Lost 1, Drew 0 (24 Points)
9 games after their last CL game - Won 5, Lost 1, Drew 3 (18 Points)

13/14 Season
10 games before their last CL game - Won 6, Lost 2, Drew 2 (20 Points)
10 games after their last CL game - Won 6, Lost 2, Drew 2 (20 Points)

12/13 Season
10 games before their last CL game - Won 5, Lost 3, Drew 2 (17 Points)
10 games after their last CL game - Won 8, Lost 0, Drew 2 (26 Points)

11/12 Season
11 games before their last CL game - Won 6, Lost 3, Drew 2 (20 Points)
11 games after their last CL game - Won 6, Lost 2, Drew 3 (21 Points)

I'm still expecting them to finish above us at this stage

I think we have a great chance of finishing above them of course but they always seem to finish so strong in the home stretch and we only have a 3 point advantage over them if you take the game in hand in to account and we still have a lot of tough games to play

I'm hopeful we can finish above them at last but if that mind the gap year teaches us nothing else it's that it is far too early to write them off yet
