Just reading through the last few pages I think it was Dan KP that said a few days back that bale was about 4 weeks off full fitness.

So there definitely wasn't some hidden injury was there? The thread is so big I feel I may have missed some info so apologies if this has already been discussed to death.

As you don’t know any more than I do what the issue is, it is pretty presumptive for you to state that they’ve fucked this up. I’m pretty sure the club has a pretty good idea what is in their best interests marketing wise (if not always on the pitch). Indeed, this area appears to the club’s forte in recent years. So, I’m going out on a limb and will trust the club’s judgment re a marketing decision (if that’s what it indeed is) rather than an impatient fan’s assumptions re when to announce a signing.

Of course I wouldn't know, but your assertion on so many different areas the club has done right, which I absolutely agree, are actually not on point to what I meant. When some of you just simply relate 'marketing' to PR when the latter entails a different region of aims and objectives, it can be a difficult matter to agree on, like always.

I wonder if they had a camera follow him around the training ground saying hello to everyone or something. That could have taken a while itself, on top of the usual photoshoot (solo and with Reguilon) and interviews. It's going to be a big deal.
