... just an add-on thought: Covid/isolating.. Spurs can’t be seen as being complacent and maybe tests etc need to be clarified. Otherwise Levy/Spurs could be held up as irresponsible and “money ignores the rules” kind of accusations

Thank you, yes. No trips to the loo. Little hungover. You?
Not bad. Doreen from number 10 forgot to take her pills again and woke the whole street up at three morning shouting, “The English are coming, the English are coming, hide the marzipan”, but apart from that not too bad

They would have been tested leaving Spain. They have been in a football bubble and so as Bale was training on Wednesday I am sure it's fine. Either way if they do have to isolate, we have the hotel next to the training ground anyway.

Maybe announcement will be held back until after Southampton game - just in case we don’t get the win !

With the Sun article issue Rebrab mentioned, the response is really easy.

Ban them from the stadium and the training ground.

The tabloid media in this country are a disgrace and it’s the only way to deal with it. They literally destroy lives and revel in it because they’re selling loads of papers.

Dont agree, Levy has signed bale cos he knows thats going to add revenue. We have 500 pages of people losing their shit cos bale is back. What are we going to do....Buy shirts. Levy has done the maths. It may happen tomorrow but no one will care opportunity was lost

Yeah all those people queing to buy a shirt (which Nike takes most of the money from) will change their minds now the announcement is coming on a Saturday.

That’s actually a very practical approach... although I’d imagine Sky’s coverage of spurs would be even more shitty and ridiculous

Just seen The Sun article. All that stuff was his wife's side of the family and none of it they were directly involved in themselves? They also used a photo with their two daughters when they could easily have just used one of them two alone.

The Sun is an absolute disgrace and needs putting out of business. Ban them from all Club media. Though while they exist they will still write this shit unfortunately.

we used to have a school dinner lady called Doreen that obviously smoked about 50 tabs a day... her voice across the dinner hall was like a male fruit n veg market man ...

Obviously I’ve always know what scum they are but that whole Ben Stokes story and how they flew out to NZ to harass his mum for a tragic family event that happened in the 80s was just next level for me and I was pleased Stokes came out and said what he did.

Stuff like that and Bale you shouldn’t have to say “oh that’s just part and parcel of being a celebrity” it’s of no interest to the public and should remain private to the families.

You do know people read them online now, right? Actual published newspapers is a dying industry that really only commuters still read physical papers. They likely get more money from hits to their site than sales of the paper itself.

Did he not play 2 games for Wales recently? 45 minutes for the first game then 90 for the second vs Bulgaria?

He's obviously not going to be match for either way, so would probably be eased in over the next month anyway.

This may have been mentioned since the 90 pages where added from last night though!

Isn't there something about telling the stock market if we spend big? That won't open again until Monday.

If it falls through now after all the hype, we will look like right chumps!
