If Bale can get up to at least fitness levels so that we can get 30+ games out of him AND we sign a decent CF then you are causing multiple problems for defences.

Imagine preparing for Kane, Son and Lucas all week but then Spurs have Bale, CF and Bergwijn either on the bench or rotation.

You can only prepare for so much
You can imagine it now. Another teams equivalent speech at half time, to when Mourinho warned of Pogba.

"Guys, it's likely they'll bring on Bale. Better start praying."
