Big Sam to Sunderland is so sensible it probably won't happen. Although he's obviously a troglodyte, I reckon they'd finish ahead of Wet Spam next year if they appointed him.

Firing Ancelotti does seem quite insane. I mean was he really bad enough to fire before having a replacement signed up and ready to go? That's just as bad as Levy. I don't understand what the benefit is in firing managers so quickly, when they could leave it alot closer to when the replacement signs the dotted line. I guess it's a courtesy thing. Bizzare and risky way of running a football club if you ask me, when there is never a guarantee of securing a suitable replacement, although I do suspect that deals can get all but finalised well before the media know about them, still, risky business as it could go pear shaped somehow.
