That's absolutely true and quite rightly so but just for a moment imagine you are the Sheffield United players and you've just seen last seasons CL finalist spank a team away who are notoriously difficult to score against - might instil a slight doubt or two?
They’re a confident bunch, on a high and they’re eyeing up another scalp. Don’t imagine for a second they’ll lose sleep tonight.

Not sure why anyone would be optimistic after tonight? There’s a reason all the players we wanted to see played tonight, and it’s because they’ll be on the bench or worse at the weekend. This lot were the weakest team in the group and Poch picked his teams accordingly

I’m quite optimistic about our chances of reaching the last 16, is that ok?

Na sorry mate don’t agree with that, poch picked the correct team tonight which he’s not been able to do for a while due to injuries etc so credit where it’s due he got it spot on tonight and I actually do think he will now try to be as consistent with the formation and line-up as he can to build our confidence and rhythm but for one reason or another he’s not done that previously due to changing formation and players being off form, injuried, not having had a pre season or wanting to leave but he now can pick the players he wants to and I’m fully confident that he will.

he’s a top manager and we all want him to succeed and turn this around the main concern for myself and many others has been his chopping and changing of the tactics and players when he’s not needed to, hopefully he’s started to work things out and onwards and upwards.

Let’s just see what he does with his selection for the next game before we hail his messianic status or scream his denouncement. My monies on him being shit again but his starting XI tonight was really positive in terms of future building- freeze out the old guard over the next few games to bench those players with odd cameos, embrace those that are here for the long term and I think we’ll re-establish coherency and purpose.

We’ll see soon enough

What if Poch makes changes and we win? Good grief, that will take some undoing in misery land!!!!!!
I don’t think the rotation is a problem, on paper we’ve a great squad, I think it’s more the constant change of formation, stick to 4231

No, congratulations will be if he plays the same team against sheff Utd rather than bringing Eriksen etc back in.

not many managers play the same team over and over again go look at the changes City and Liverpool made in their CL matches.

plus he won't change, they said on BT sport after the game, Poch hasn't played the same team back-to-back since February 2018
