Couldn’t agree more. Disrespectful to fans in my opinion. It’s not like this is some crappy rumour on a random site. The whole footballing world is discussing it. Pee or get off the pot.

I do think its a tad disrespectful but then again what do you, or I, or anyone expect him to say? He cannot say no I dont want the manure job because he hasnt been offered it. He cannot also say i want to stay at Spurs forever because he hands Levy the power and also you dont know what the future holds.

I just think we should enjoy this season then see what happens at the end. If he fucks off he fucks off (which I very much doubt in my view - i think he will stay for a couple more years at the very least provided he gets some cash)

"I want to show my gratitude to Nicola Cortese. I believed in him, he brought me here, my staff and my family. I am full of gratitude to him," he said.
"Eight months ago when this happened we were finishing my first season and I did say that if he left there would be no sense for me to stay.

"The new situation is different. We are in the middle of our new project. Nicola knows of my decision to stay; I have spoken to him. I am fully committed to the staff, the players, the club and it would make no sense to leave in the middle of our path."

The Premier League outfit announced in a statement on Wednesday night that Cortese's resignation had been accepted and that their owner Katharina Liebherr had taken on the role of non-executive chairman, with the search having begun for a new chief executive officer.

Pochettino added: "We are professionals, but we’re also human. It’s a very sad blow, but we need to think about the game on Saturday.

“Of course I have spoken to the players. I’ve said to them exactly what I’m saying to you now.

“I’d also like to highlight that, when Nicola offered me my contract, the only thing he said was to be 100% professional.

“I have a contract and a responsibility to Southampton.”

6 months or so before he joined us.

JJ then followed up with this....

Well nothing has happened to date apart from the media that I know but if you can somehow break into that group of 4 guys then you will find out what they are thinking !!He is going to manage Real one day in the distant future but I think he wants to create something here first?

Regardless of this will he or won't he chat ,its hasn't affected our performances one iota, if anything it's galvanised the team.

The whole footballing world is talking about this, every pundit is pushing it, every journalist is writing their own narrative on it , every fan is looking at it in every detail in every way. What's left.... We win versus Everton scoring 6 goals away. Im not worried

After reading JJs comments, the way I see it is, Pochettino is not going to let anything get in the way of what he can achieve with Spurs this season. He will take stock at the end of the season and see what his options are then. Winning a trophy this season may just be enough to keep him here for another 3 or 4 seasons.

Klopp left there after he had done all he could and he was actually struggling.

The time I’m talking about was when he was flying with them and he made it clear he wasn’t going United or anywhere when asked.

Poch is non-commital when asked and offers up pretty weak responses. I’ll be very disappointed if he goes and I won’t have anytime for him whatsoever if that does happen.

All the hype about Poch etc will only intensify as the season goes on. The best way to nip it in the bud is to basically say ‘thanks but not interested’

Perhaps Poch is cleverer than you. we are approaching a transfer window, so keeping stum might make Levy understand that backing him might be the best way to keep him happy, where as doing it your way, and Levy thinking he is content might backfire. if Levy doesn't back him either in January or early Summer I'd not be shocked if Poch took the option, which would mean being hated by many if he dispels the job now but takes it in the summer.

He’s not stupid he ain’t gonnna rule out nothing publicly before the jan window his holding the cards
Levy gotta give him something and I think if we make a statement signing then that will tell us more about what’s happening.
No ones signing if the managers off in the summer
January’s a tough window so I won’t lose my shit if nothing happens but I would be more concerned
