I didnt want Poch to go but feel after this game that its time for a change. BUT the players should hang their heads in fuckin shame and that includes players like Kane. You dont play for the manager you play because youre paid to do it and the bare minimum is to go out there and give it your all.

Huge changes are needed in the playing squad in my view. Id strip out half of that squad...

Took the hierarchy at the club long enough to see that. Poch saying new signings aren't up to the level he expects is a ridiculous thing to say.

two of them are coming off injuries so obviously they're not up to playing just yet but i dont want to be hearing they need a month to get up to his standards. The ndombele one is baffling as he has played a few games for us.

Pochs presser:

"The performance wasn't great. It wasn't great, but again when you concede an early goal of course in the momentum of the team it's always tough. Of course it's a difficult situation because when you want to build your confidence again and be solid and to have the calm to play, because you always need to be calm to play, we started to take rash decisions."

"We were nervous. Of course the atmosphere wasn't in the way that you love to play in and it wasn't the best. I understand of course the fans and everyone. It's not easy. I was a professional player in this type of situation and it is so difficult to play. Of course Watford defended well and were very strong, never gave the space to us to be clear and have chances to score."

"First half for us was poor of course, but second half I need to tell you that I feel very proud and we fought and always took risks. We started the second half really well and Sonny provided good energy and the team was fighting and never gave up.
In the end we got the reward from Dele Alli's goal and I think fully deserved. That is the first step to build our confidence and we need to stop to consider the poor goal that we conceded.

Of course when you analyse the situation after Bayern Munich it's normal. We were with our confidence here (holds hand up high) and then after Bayern Munich our confidence was on the floor. What happened against Brighton when we conceded a goal with the first action and the impact of losing your captain to a big injury, of course that made it very difficult."

Now it's step by step and we will stay strong. It's only football problems and we are football people. We will try to find a way and we are trying and doing things, trying to be solid to start performing in the way that we all expect that we need to.

More in the link.
Just more excuses again. How can you blame the Brighton performance on Lloris' injury?

Just this very second at 18:34 left the ground. The vibes regarding Poch is not good in any way. Plus his latest comments he is saying our new signings need to be match ready. It has not gone down well. I have never known such a bad feeling/vibe within our great club for years. Make your own minds up.
Well then surely Levy is aware of this and only has one option.

To those who still want Poch in, can you honestly say you are confident we will get the 9 wins required to avoid relegation to the Championship?

We wont need nine wins - Watford are down although will be a six pointer at their place.

Noocastle away is going to be a toughie and as for Norwich away - well their defence is shit but theyve been impressive in attack

Oh man, the fact that this isn't a totally laughable post: that's grim.

Who would be a potential brief caretaker for a game or two if he was to go in the very near future? Not that I think he will get sacked quite so soon, unless we get a thumping on Tuesday. Be good not to throw a new manager into Liverpool as their first game, although what a start if we were to win it.

Is this your opinion, something you're actually witnessing in the changing room, or are you pushing a player's agent's agenda? Because personally I don't think this helps if it's not just your opinion.

Poch only got off the bench about 5 or 6 times today and then he had his hands in his pockets most of the time

Never wears a suit anymore. He’s clearly given up as have a lot of the players in this current situation

I still blame the club for those disastrous back to back windows where we purchased nobody

That was a horrendous decision at the time and as many of us thought, very dangerous

Plus you look at all these contractual issues we’ve had going on for ages. Would never have happened a few years ago

Club lost the plot
Players lost the plot
Manager has lost the plot

Good combo!!

Sound like a broken record but I think Poch is self-sabotaging. He won’t walk and it will take a lot for Levy to pull the trigger. So he just keeps making the same decisions that got us in this mess so results are shit and Levy has to act.

He will then spin it so it appears the players are to blame. The media will lap it up and so he leaves with his reputation intact and can take the Man Utd job.

Will see if true but if it does happen then will be sick that he put his own interests above the club.

Haha - mate it hurt me typiong it up

But unless things improve, it can be heading that way. I dont think Levy will let it get to that stage. I think he will pull the trigger by the next international break if things just dont head up rather than continue the way it is

Whats more shocking than the result, performance and team selection, etc, is that anybody, and there were quite a few, thought that anything else was going to happen.
I more amazed we never lost.

Levy is not, despite what some say, an idiot.
I think we'll wait until after the drubbing from Liverpool and then Poch will be gone as others have eluded to.
We cannot have a new £1b stadium trying to sell naming rights floundering around the bottom half of the table and clearly Poch has no idea how to turn this around.
To be fair with the state of mind for Eriksen, Toby, Vertonghen, Rose being shit and Lloris being out for a long while its going to be hard for anyone to get us top 4.
Positives being Arsenal, Chelsea and Man U are harsly looking world beaters themselves, they're scraping results.
Imo we need a proper defensive midfielder like Dier, Parker, Polacios, a sandro type player. Neither Winks or Sissoko can do that job properly. Disagree but the proof is in the pudding.
And we need to start making feeding Kane our top priority, and quickly not 98 passes later.
Its a shit show and no mistake.
Letting a squad get into this state amounts to incompetence frankly which is partially down to Levy and Poch for keeping players that do not want to be here. This is the result.

His fitness demands seem to be unrealistic these days. As far as I'm aware we don't run significantly further or sprint more often than most other teams these days and yet he wants players to do months of fitness work before he thinks they're ready to play. I guess you can get away with it when you only sign one new player, bit when there's three of them that's a lot of talent to have sitting around not playing.

I’m lost.

After 3 weeks ago saying we needed January for a rebuild, to last week saying we don’t need signings, today we are back to being ‘ready to make signings in January’.

I’m so confused. the players look confused. Poch sounds confused. he’s losing the plot.

There is no way that Poch wanted to keep players that didn’t want to be here!!
Look how fast he shipped out Walker as soon as he heard he wasn’t on board anymore. And that only happened so quickly because we got a great offer

So IMO you can’t blame Poch for the state of the current squad and the contractual issues so then the chairman has a hell of a lot to answer for...
