Feel sorry for Rodgers, had no help for years now
It's hard to be upset about taking taking Ruggs who gives us speed to burn and to stretch the secondary finally as well but I did feel Lamb (my preference) or Jeudy was the way forward here.

Surprised 49ers passed up the opportunity and whilst it was expected the Bronco's picking up Jeudy, the fact that Lamb fell to the Cowboys was interesting.

As for Arnette, well maybe it'll turn out to be a reach and perhaps with AJ Terrell going to the Falcons it forced our hand a bit on a CB position we desperately need. Also seems that we just couldn't trade back into the 2nd round but in any case, I trust Mayock.
To honest, I think the picks just encompass Gruden, he has a huge ego, that he will transform the players from raw athletes

My dad was a die hard Cowboys fan because of primetime and I think for the first time, they look good next season

Their pick of Lamb, compliments Cooper, who will stretch the field for a route runner.

They keep Dak happy and they look good:nailbiting:

Also RIP to Dak's brother

Unless he has an Elway ending Green Bay has wasted Rodgers' career.
Completely. Such a good QB and the Packers outright refused to get him a WR worth a damn. Now, they go for his replacement when he has a good few years left. Insanity.
TBH I'm of the opinion, the franchise QB is horribly overrated and often doesn't equate to superbowls. As soon as they get paid the team goes to shit

A QB needs to take a little less money to be competitive

Most franchise QB's that win, do it on their rookie deal

I'm a born and raised Vikings fan. Watching the Packers win is like seeing Arsenal win. I hate it.

How Green Bay has only won one Super Bowl with Rodgers is unreal. I thought he was destined for 3 to 5.

Well.....the media would have you believe that the Pats are doing everything they can to trade up.

But having seen this team operate for the last 35+ years i fully expect us to trade out of the first round for a 2nd and a 4th.....in the second round draft a corner 4 rounds earlier than need be (incidentally he will end up on IR out of pre-season and will never really play for us before we cut him in 2 years) and then with the 4th round pick we will draft a Guard who is considered a "project".

I guess it speaks to how the years have gone that i seem to have nailed this.....

We traded out of first for a 2nd and 3rd (i said 4th).

and in the 2nd.....we draft, you guessed it.....a defensive back. Wonder if he sees the field, none of the other 2nd round dbs seem to.

Needs: CB, OL and WR. What do we draft with our 2 2nd round picks? A DL and an LB, 2 positions we really dont need whatsoever. I fucking hate O’Brien.

It turns out, Green Bay have never drafted a first round offensive player since Rodgers

Brady on the other hand has 8 offensive players in the last 20 years at New England with 3 coming in the last 2, that's still low and worth noting other than 3 picks, they are all TE's, OT's and G's

The main point of a franchise QB, is so that you don't waste picks on QB's trying to rebuild all the time. Not so that they can try and carry the offence themselves. At least protect him FFS

The whole setup at Green Bay has been a mess for years: letting Casey Hayward and Micah Hyde go springs to mind.

Thoughts on the Raiders haul @beats1 ?

Overall I think we've targeted the right areas and we've certainly given Carr (possibly later Mariota?) weapons now in an explosive offence which has got plenty of speed. Wouldn't be surprised if Edwards outperforms Ruggs initially and Bowden potentially adds a bit of X-factor too but ultimately depth at WR was a necessary area to target which we've thankfully done.

Robertson looks like he could be a steal later on in the draft but it'll be a case of suck it and see when it comes to our secondary.

Honestly mate, I consider myself a refugee.

I can't find myself to support the raiders, I supported the Raiders because of the fanbase and even though they may travel to LV, it just doesn't feel right but I don't have no ill feelings to people who do

When Davis does move or pass away, that might change, last season was a good turnaround however not sure of the plan when I look at the raiders
