Anyone watching? Ive gotta say I love watching the Championship ones. Derby have pulled a goal back early and if they get one more then it's game on!

I have very mixed feelings about the play-offs. On the one hand it's a brilliant mini-tournament to end the season, on the other hand I think it's deeply unfair for a team like Brighton to have to contest play-offs (and more often than not lose) when they have been so much better than their opponents over the course of the season.

For me the fairest "play-offs" would be a two-legged tie between third bottom in the PL and third in the Champ, etc. down the divisions. But then Wembley won't get those extra matches to pay off their debts, so that's never going to happen.

Agree that the play-offs this season have been good games though.

Absolutely agree. Over the course of the season, Brighton were 15 points better than Sheffield Wednesday. 15 points! Really unfair in my book.

Corkie had a good idea on Talksport this morning, it goes like this

3v4= winner through to final

loser plays winner of 5v6, winner goes to final.

so the higher teams get 2 bites of the cherry,

Brighton got beaten by the team around 15 points behind them.

Yeah I was thinking the same yesterday, it's like if we were to go through a tough and gruelling season to finish 3rd and get a CL place only to then play someone like Southampton or West Ham and have our spot taken. Would be a horrible feeling.

I do love the play-offs a lot but there is a definite sense of injustice when the team in 3rd doesn't win it.

Seriously, if your sponsor is called flamingo land, you dont even deserve to be in the championship, let alone fighting for promotion to the premier league. Fuck off Hull.

No one watching Acc Stan v Wimbledon?
Extra time and the beast is on, didn't think it could be possible but Akinfenwa looks bigger than the last time I saw him play, I think the only way Acc can sort him out will be if the millennium falcon and an X wing fighter drop on by....
