To be fair, based on their natural games, they both would want to occupy the same part of the pitch if we play the traditional AVB 433. I guess you could play both if you switch to a 4231 though.

Hernandez's in my opinion is a much better alround striker than Defoe. Hernandez has more guile, better movement and even scores with his head.

Defoe on the otherhand has one trade mark move, shift the ball to his right leg and hit the ball as hard as he can.....

Agree with most of this, but to be fair to Defoe, he can create chances for himself and score goals out of nothing. Hernandez is very much a poacher reliant on service inside the penalty box.
