Got to love a good cryptic to start the day (even if it isn't cryptic and JJ just responding to a sweedish tweeter). But considering Sweeden played Brazil a week ago, and LD scored in that game is it not possible that the seemingly world renowned Arne Hegerfors made some comment in that game about Leandro and his future? Go on kids go fetch.....

Don't wanna ruin anything but Hegerfors is retired and he did not comment that game in any way...

Sky Sports understands Spurs are in talks with Shakhtar over Willian, but they are standing firm on their valuation. http://bit.ly/PebrNp

Personally even from the little i saw of him (i.e. last nights game) I'd rather we went all out for Isco as he is younger and attached to a club that is in the shitter financially so we are more likely to get good value there. Plus from what i've seen of Willian i think he's a good player but £20m..... not that good.

An amusing tweet (not strictly spurs related but some of our favourites are included). Made me laugh

Confusing, I can't see us spending £60m+ so are we going to sign Willian instead of a centre mid like Moutinho, seems a little off to me. Unless Willian is much cheaper than reported. I read somewhere that Willian is out of contract but the bosman rule doesn't apply in Ukraine so Shakhtar can still charge for him.

Fingers and pies and all that, I reckon. Moutinho is number 1 target but he's a bit expensive at the moment - so it's up to Porto really...

@TransferNewsCen: Juventus are back in talks with Stevan Jovetic after failing to bring Fernando Llorente. They may offer Fabio Quagliarella to Fiorentina.

Yes, but Willian is a completely different sort of player.

Indeed, I think we are looking at at least 2 midfielders, a playmaker and a more attacking/winger type. I hope so too as we are starting to look very light in midfield. Sandro/Parker/Livermore can cover the 1 or 2 DM spots depending upon how we play and VDV/Sig can do the AM bit. Still think we need 2 playmakers and a winger/wing forward. Would love Moutinho, Isco and Willian but can't see that happening.

Hmm, hope this is true... even if we get LD, can you imagine? Ade, LD and Llorente to choose from?

To be honest I think we will go for 2 'proven' strikers, Harry Kane and let JD go, purely because he doesnt want to sit on the bench. Having all three of them would be a bit of a mare in terms of keeping everyone happy.

I do agree with you 100% but the choice would be nice. ;P

You don't smash your wage budgets and transfer records on players that you rotate upfront and play out of position. Certainly when there is another area of the pitch that requires attention.

Ade wide right with Llorente and LD rotating?
Unless Leandro right, Ade in VDV role and Llorente up top?

Sounds pretty pointless to me. There are better players than Ade for RW. Ade has show no signs he would be effective as AM. Leandro is a classic No. 9 so no point playing him out of position.

Frankly guys i think we should just all be well and truly over the fucking moon with Ade + one of either Llorente or Leandro.
