I'd just like to say that it was a typo when I called Austin an average player, I meant to say over age player. Austin is a very decent shot stopper. I've got nothing against him.

Lo'Tutala is an u15 keeper, don't know how highly rated he is but like @Hengy1 said a lot are in Qatar, so that might have been the reason he has played. However it is still strange.

I know Kurylowicz is there. But I doubt Josh Oluwayemi, De Bie or Freeman (don't know why we're wasting his time) are there, which means they could have played today. Then there's Green who I think is going to be released but I assume they would have taken him.

If we were going to give bench time to a youngster I thought they would have gone for the younger Oluwayemi but he is quite small so it might be that Tutala is taller. Who is Chichowlas?

Looking at the team we played today it looks like all of our 01s have gone to the tournament, our u16s and I know John has gone so I imagine Lusala might go too

Chichowlas is a young Polish/English U16 goalkeeper we've had on our books for a couple of years. I have no idea if he's actually still with us.

Too bad that Edwards is not fit - would have loved to see him help Norwich past Sheffield United - now without CCV...

Possibly, but the ratio for prolific youth team strikers who make it into prolific PL strikers must be 1/500...

Actually griffiths is 13 in 13 starts this season. It’s way less than that ratio wise. You really don’t get that many prolific strikers in youth football.

I think I do know who you mean. I remember seeing another Polish keeper a year or two ago in that age group, but haven't seen him for a while. I reckon he has left. Kurylowicz and Green are the only keepers I'm aware of from that age group

Those numbers are good and but they're not special. Harrison scored 17 in 21 when he was a 2nd year.

Nketiah I would say was genuinely and prolific. The Chelsea strikers always put up big numbers. Griffiths is a good striker, and he can still imrpove but he isn't doing anything outrageous at that level.

I reckon Richards even has a better goals per min ratio.

Their very promising numbers, but I think it's obvious that some of his goals are due to his advanced stature.

Would be a shame to lose him because he has a lot raw talent to work with, in a position we are struggling in to recruit properly at the senior level.

Patterson seems to be coming on. Looks like he has a good all round game. I always thought he was quite small for some reason a bit like shashou , but looking at recent images he looks about average height maybe 5 10’ ?

He was always on the small side. He has definitely grown a bit but I think his slight build and baby face make him look shorter than he actually is. He's a really excellent young player.

After some digging I've discovered that former U16s Harvey White, Ryan Penton & Christian Carter have new clubs.

White, a Maidstone boy, has gone to non-league Thee Bridges. Ryan Penton has turned up at non-league Whyteleafe and Carter who always struck me as a decent player has moved closer to home and joined non-league Cambridge City.

Don't know if I mentioned it elsewhere but Dillon Da Silva another from this age group moved on late last year to join an already sizeable former Spurs contingent at QPR. Ryan Gooderson, another from this group has dropped out of football. Henry Fuller, another from this group has opted for rugby over football and now plays for London Irish.

Goalkeeper Bartlomiej Cichowlas is a bit of a blank. Timi Sobowale, who we all thought we'd signed, appeared to have gone to Man City but I can find no evidence that he's played for them at any level in the last six months.

Dequan Wilson-Braithwaite is another player I've drawn a blank on. Pretty sure he left us a few months back but no idea where he is now.

@IGSpur , any idea whether Dearman is on the cusp of getting a deal?

Are you able to post how many games each has played?

FA Youth Cup Liverpool 2-3 Arsenal. In extra time. 2-1 to Pool then Arsenal equalised 5mins to go normal time. As we beat Liverpool comfortably where does that leave us in relation to Arsenal, bearing in mind they battered us earlier this season.
