With our attack recharged anything is possible. If Kane stays fit and bangs in the goals we will be up there.

I think man u will be the ones. They barely lost and Jose has reverted to type with a drogba clone up front

Drogba had a lot more all round game than lukaku will ever have in imo

Indeed @mill

Lukaku is nothing like Drogba. Man Utd will almost certainly play with a similar concept to Mourinho's Chelski which is everyone back and hit the big/quick one up front. Drogba was big strong, brought others into play, could score all sorts of goals.etc Lukaku basically scores after getting played into space behind the defence. Broadly similar philosophy but very different in style.

Funny how people view different players.Spurzinho really respect your opinions but have to disagree on this. For me winks is nothing like dembele in any way.Dembele is a total one off for me ,can't think of another player in EPL to compare him too.But I honestly see a lot of winks in coutinho and silva.Fir me he is very quick over 5 yards great balance and importantly realise it very quickly.A reason dembele never made AM.The unknown would be his goal scoring ability. If onomah s progress is real and not a flash in pan for me winks further forward is the obvious solution especially as we are light there.Eventually they could make a great CM duo with onomah the deep sitter. But for now I can't see another solution to accomadate them both.

How are we light in am? If we play 343 then son and lamela don't even start. The we have sissoko and gkn behind them.

He did but lukaku is still developing. I'm sure we all expect Kane to continue to develop.

Anyway wrong thread for this chat. Apols

If you can't tell the difference between an Ericksen and a Dembele then I don't know what to tell you. Nimbleness is not the same as power and pace, yes? Fast feet are not the same as powerful legs, yes? The ability turn in short circles whilst maintaining your balance is different to a wide turn whilst holding some off before bursting past them when you've got them on the half turn, yes? The half turn is exactly when Winks & Dembele like to power past someone. The closer you get to the opposition's goal the less likely an opposition player is to allow themselves to be half turned because its a terrible position to get into. This isn't complicated stuff.

It's a shame you try to patronize because I've just read a couple more of your posts and they've been a good read.

You hve a good turn of phrase but your assessment of Winks' mobility is baffling. Those tight spaces are exactly his forte, twisting, turning, battling, laying it off quickly.

This was your post to me. What's that if not patronising?

I think @Blake Griffin hit the nail on the head with Winks, it's not so much about the physical attributes with him (he's no less quick over 5-10 yards than Eriksen and he's a fuck site more dexterous and technically sharp than Alli is in tight spaces) it's about his mental skill set, the way he thinks and sees the game. Some players are just more productive in different ways and different areas due to the way they are mentally made up. Some players thrive on involvement (Winks) some thrive on moments (Alli), if you're lucky you very occasionally get both hybrid (Eriksen).

Erm. Should we be concerned that Dinzeyi has taken Edwards' squad number (48)?

We've been very sloppy so far. Carter-Vickers gets a PSG break completely wrong and we're completely exposed. 1-0 PSG.

First 10 minutes was poor by us, second 10 much, much better. KWP getting on the ball and giving PSG kittens. Onomah getting involved in central areas.

There's a proper match thread in the main forum so I'll be keeping my comments here as much about the youngsters as possible.

For those harpoon that CCV is good enoygor is to not need another CH, especially if Wimmer goes? He needs to go out on loan.
