For me it's raid Norwich. Lewis, Aarons and Cantwell and a target man.

If Harry Kane is so amazing and it means we can't get a back up striker then I say sell him and get 2 average strikers that are willing to fight for number 1 spot. That way we eliminate the lack of second striker and Parrott not ready excuse.

Giroud is playing well for Chelsea at the moment so he might get a new contract, but I wonder if we'll revisit that one on a free transfer.

May well do if it all works again in the summer. Would be solid cover on a free.

Had me on the first part, not so sure on the latter part of the post.

I know we have some snobs in the fan base who feel relegation recruits aren’t up to our standards but Norwich have some great young talent. Definitely worth a look, they have 4/5 young players likely to move when they drop.

I don't want Kane to go but we will never get a good enough striker to play backup. Even Parrott only signed a 3.5 yr deal. However, if Mourinho is going to use Kane being injured as an excuse then let's eliminate the excuse

At a bare minimum we need a starting Goal keeper RB CB LB DM back up striker.
Not going to be cheap band doubt we’ll will get all them positions filled

Trust me when I say Kane leaving would make me cry. But he is an excuse being used now to justify playing shit football, sorry shit tactics.
Genuinely thought you were joking, never occurred to me you were being serious.

At bare minimum we need less than that. I don't see us moving for a GK and our RB, LB players could, at bare minimum be young players to develop as starters long term.

We were 3rd in the form table since Mourinho took over before Sonny got injured remember

Watching Lille play at the moment and osimhen seems tailor made for the premier league. He still looks a touch raw, but I think he could turn into massive player in time.

Depends what your expectations are for next season, we are not competing for top 4 and trophies without a new GK LB and RB

I think we need a DM and backup FWD more than we need a new GK, LB & RB. All 5 would be ideal though yes.

I think if we miss out on european football, there isnt the need for a massive overhaul in terms of incomings, as there wont be as much pressure on the squad as only playing one game per week.

If that is the case a good summer window of adding CH, DM, RB, FW would be suffiecent along with clearing out a lot of the deadwood.

I genuinely believe if we dont have european football next year it could actually be a benefit just for one season - as we have to remember there are Euros this year which again wil result in late pre seasons etc. Playing one game a week would help that and also would mean could focus on the FA cup / League cup due to a non congested fixture list.

I'm not entirely in this boat but i think a) we have to consider that i don't think we're quite up to the top 4 this year and b) whether we want to play/prioritise a run in the Europa over perhaps some of the rebuild needed.

You're right in that it would clear down the fixture list and potentially remove some pressure but it's still revenue and more importantly it's a shot at glory. I'm never 100% in on an approach which takes us out of a trophy hunt but pragmatically looking at the work we need to do, i can't say i'm 100% against it at the moment.

All hard to call at the moment. The Euros for me are as big a problem as potentially the fixtures next year in Euro comps. Both hinder our ability to strengthen and build/maintain better levels of fitness.

Would love to get Grealish in but doubt it’ll happen for a few reasons. Think he has the tenacity and guile to player deeper where needed and provide creativity like GLC.

Bar the striker we need first team upgrades in all those positions in order to compete again. Would be an absolute miracle if Levy did all that in one summer.
