I dont think anyone has outright said the Aarons ship has sailed. It was more implied by a singular ITK that he would prefer Chelsea and has his heart set on them.

Meunier is a tough one to call atm. Apparently PSG fans havent been impressed with him for the past 2 seasons. As a free transfer though he makes sense. Would like to get him and Aarons and get rid of Serge but its not likely.

Yes he his right footed. The gramma used wasn't the best. Grealish in brackets is the one player I truly want us to buy above all else.

Ah, so a southpaw in addition to Grealish, ideally? Anyone in mind?

James Rodriguez, Leon Bailey, Riyad Mahrez. I would happily trade any three for Moura. Imo we are unbalanced
James hasn't had a good season in years and Leon had one good season but has been bang average since then. Riyad I'd take but I don't think we'll be getting him from City

There's a question mark above James, just like there is above Coutinho - bouncing around clubs like a hot potato.

The Balotelli effect.

The fact that the agents of both players are trying to link them with a new club every day speaks volumes if you ask me. We are too bright to be involved with signing either

We're restricted by squad constraints. The market will be hamstrung by financial constraints due to the virus. Free transfers will probably be finding clubs alot sooner than usual. I think our business will be a veteran HG GK on a free, Meunier on a free, Eze, DM, CB and 2nd striker. At least 2 HG's there with potential for a 3rd. Takes care of squad constraints and 2 free transfers. Aarons and Grealish are probably unrealistic at this point. The big money transfer should be either at DM or CB.

I wish that the 3rd GK slot would go to Austin or Whiteman but a free HG veteran keeper is right up Jose's alley.

Depends on who goes as well. If Aurier and KWP both go then we'll likely need 2 x RBs - Aarons and Meunier?
If Foyth and Vertonghen and possibly Dier go then we'll need 2 x CBs.

Anything less leaves us going another season with an unbalanced defence - and you could make the case for LB needing a solution, too - so why the hell would we go 2 seasons with José and an unbalanced squad? Makes no sense. Mourinho isn't a miracle worker, he needs the right players to win.

You can't have Davies making up a back 3 and Aarons bombing forward for a whole season - we'd be too predictable to play against.

I think the club have no option but to make the necessary signings. Not backing Mourinho for a second season is absolutely and utterly pointless.

Going by recent stories and how fucked up the market is going to be. I can see us signing Meunier, Giroud and Willian on frees. Godin for a little money and hopefully all the rest of the money on a DM, I think I read somewhere that we might be able to get Kondogbia for £30M due to a clause. That would then cover RB, CB, DM, WG & a back up ST letting Parrott go out on loan to gain experience. These arent my choices, but I thing its roughly where we'll go.

Looking very likely that any business we do will either be on a free or from sales. The season is currently up in the air so who knows if we will have CL next season but without it, Levy had said that transfer funds would be a lot less. Even with CL, I imagine we won't have much to spend due to the current situation. We could do far worse than some of the free transfers being mentioned.

The world financially will be messed up once we overcome the Virus. The clubs with the oil money and backed by countries firms etc will benefit from the market ( financial fair play will be relaxed) the rest who depend on income from gate receipts sponsors etc will find in much more difficult but also they'll be many clubs that will be forced to sell.

One things for sure Tottenham has to spend money, they can't hide behind an excuse though very legit. We have a manager that requires a functioning squad that is what he is best at otherwise in terms of his contract and management style if we don't match what he need can we justify his payment or style of football. For us to benefit long term Tottenham need to be in position to challenge for CL etc...otherwise we'll just suffer. I am expecting the whole landscape to change socially politically as well as in football, many other clubs will be looking for a piece of the pie ie Everton Newcastle.

Sorry to bring Poch up again he was 100% right we need to be brave.
