Dragon1 on COYS: We are trying , club were reluctant as very little Money this summer so pointless having an expensive dof on big wages but Jose incredibly keen for him

Isn’t part of the point of a DOF to unearth talent at low prices? Surely now more than ever makes sense to bring him in.

It makes sense from a financial point of view but I can't think of any manager less likely to develop young talent than Mourinho. Would really like Campos on board though.

We don't know what he's going to do here but shall we wait and see further?

So far he's played Tanganga quite a bit. Skipp has had a go and all of our signings in January were youngsters. It is part of his remit to play them, he said as much when he joined us. Without turning this into a posh v mourinho thread, well, you know what I'm going to say...

Campos was quoted in February saying "I am completely in love with signing players for between €0m to €3m or €3m to €6m. Players who, with the team that I have, will be worth much more in the future.” You would think that would be music to Levy's ears in normal circumstances let alone right now with current budget restrictions.

Julien Laurens is the one reporting Campos is not coming to us. He’s pretty solid for Ligue 1 news, I thought.

People on Reddit are saying that if RTP are reporting it then it's as good as done. Sounds promising.

Are these not the key words in the sentence? We were reluctant, but José is keen, so...

Lots of rumours we are in talks with Milik
Think they’re coming from the one source which isn’t too reliable. There’s that many spurs news accounts on Twitter you see the same source being quoted on your timeline multiple times.

Tanganga did get a few chances but Skipp got next to nothing, even though we were crying out for somebody in there who'd put their foot in.
