But there's nothing we can do about it. Honestly. We have a valuation that I doubt we will go too much over and if PSG, Chelsea or City decide they want him, we are probably not in the running.

Maybe we should have went higher last summer, but this is just the Olympics and its not a guarantee of future ability in a new league and new culture.

So it's best to breathe on this one.

Remember, I freaked out over Sahin. Did me no good. So I understand the anxiety but hope you can be all "Dude Abides" about this. It's the only way to survive a linked player that you really like. :)

Guess this is the reason why we've had crap strikers for the last few years ...

Spending in excess of £20m is a risk but everything in life is a risk and it's not as if we can rely on our current strikers as we don't have any, lol

By the way, I'm perfectly chilled :)

Llorente going to Juventus. 20m euros apparently.

20m euros???? lol. Unless the euro has mysteriously increased in value in the last hour i find that extraordinary. He's worth £25m at least. Not knocking the source of course but if true, that would be the deal of the century.

Can't be city as they would have offered an extra 10m, Real would be very surprising to me (though I don't think it should be personally, I'd be in for him if I was TSO), deffo not Dortmund, so Juve does make the most sense I suppose. That is, if the quote isn't just made up in the first place of course.

Julio Cesar-Tottenham negotiations on course - @dimarziotweet

Julio Cesar-Tottenham, trattativa in corso http://fb.me/23ATJpmxa

Translation:

Future in the Premier Julio Cesar. The agents are at work, Vigorelli is in London to deal with. Tottenham willing, the negotiations are in progress. There are ongoing contacts between agents, brokers and English clubs. After Arsenal, Tottenham is the club most interested in the Brazilian goalkeeper. By agents is the desire to quit, Julio Cesar is ready to fly in England.

I'm cool with this.

Tough one. What rhymes with Sarah Jessica Parker?

A horse is a horse, of course, of course.
And no-one can talk to a horse, of course.
That is, of course, unless that horse,
Is the famous Sarah Jessica Parker...

Nothing is concrete until he's parading the shirt around Spurs Lodge so let's not count our chickens just yet as invariably with us, deals are rarely a smooth ride.

Encouraging noises, but nothing more at this stage.

Exactly, my ex-girlfriend used to make encouraging noises but I'm not entirely sure I was ever close to getting things done...

Really dont fancy Cesar as our keeper, excellent shot stopper but worried of his ability to deal with crosses. Lets hope we havent let the ship sail on LD and that blue shower dont come in and gazump us again

I'm putting faith in Levy using the Cesar leaks of interest to smoke out LLoris and land the keeper we really want who would represent a log future at Spurs.
