Let's not jump the gun here mate. What if AVB wants him to play seeing as he hasn't had much game time this pre season?

I too first though it was very bad of him not to attend the games to support the team but then AVB kind of hinted that he was with the medical staff. Who knows mate we just have to wait and see. We're all tired if the Bale saga but it could be worse, he could have done a Suarez!

The ITK is that all the injured players were absent getting treatment so without evidence to the contrary nothing negative can be read into Bale's absence (except that he has an injury, of course!)

In the face of all the media speculation I don't think we as fans could have asked more from Bale or the club. Nobody has a clue what, if anything, had gone on behind the scenes but if anything has then the club and the player have kept their counsel well. Publicly both have acted impeccably. Meanwhile we have gone about our business and given the press no opportunity to make up some 'Spurs in crisis' type melodrama.

True. Wont be upset if he plays for Wales.
But would be upset & disappointed if he plays for Wales, looks fit & doesnt play for us against Palace on Sunday.

Well that would be quite telling but no doubt we won't want to believe the "he felt a niggle while playing for Wales" story. I suppose this will all end when the window closes and even then the rumors will continue.

All very true, outside of Bale, Barnett and very senior members of the club nobody has a clue what is really going on.

The club have handled the whole business impeccably.

Almost sorry to say it but Spurs and Arsenal seem almost to be the last bastions of how a big football club should be run.

Doubt Bale and Barnett know what his takeout price is, unless it's already been agreed.

I don't believe he said anything about a 'buyout' price..

He simply said those two along with the upmost Spurs seniors would know what's going - as in whether he is leaving or not.

And I'd suggest that Bale and Barnett won't know whether he is leaving, unless we've agreed a price.

Its is more important for wales that he plays as they have no other players of quality maybe at a push Ramsey, where as we have a strong team so if rested to get fully fit should not matter as much. I think Bale will stay anyway

Regarding this injury to Bale - If ends up playing this Wales friendly, to me it would be showing lack of respect for the club & the fans. May be he is still recovering from the rumored foot injury , may be he is getting fit; if he does play for Wales, minimum I need is some information on why he has been missing.
I am not sure playing for Wales is the same as playing in the EPL. Most of this international stuff is nothing like the intensity of league football. He has had no game time and so maybe a run out for some of the game for Wales will set him up to be ready for our second or third game. Assuming he stays we want a fit Bale

Is A&C alive?

Perhaps his mistress has locked him up in his dungeon and is using A&C's full array of ban sticks.

If he plays for Wales but is too injured to make an appearance fro Spurs. Then of course he is a dick.

Cant see it though, if anything the Wales call up may cause thing to come to a head and force the issue somewhat and clarify the situation

He is having a big sleep because it is going to be a busy day, what with all the comings and goings today!!!!
